We recently moved a block away from this school so it made since to send my son here. I had heard some bad things from a few people, but also one or two good thing as well. So i assumed it was jus peoples personal opinion. But now that my son goes here the front desk people are constantly on the phones not helping the people who walk in until it is convenient for them. My sons teacher has a hard time understanding that kids need a lot of reminder on homework. Also teacher doesnt seem to interested in helping parents understand what is going on in class. The school made the decision i was going to buy 2 costumes for my 3 kids because they thought it would be awesome to send home, on the 22nd of October a notice that they were going to do a "theme" for each class for Halloween. And least but not last they dont let kids go to the nurses office to wait for parents. They make kids call parents in thier class and stay there until parents can get them.

Great school with amazing teachers. This is my sons 3rd year at this school and he loves it. I have helped out in the class rooms all three years and have seen first hand the care and desire each teacher has had for every student to succeed and to get the help they need.

Great learning environment for students who excel academically, but not a welcoming school for students with learning disabilities. We have an ADHD child with social and learning disabilities. We were told he could not be evaluated for an IEP and they could not provide an aid. At the end of the school year we were told they didn't have resources to help our child because of his special needs and strongly recommended that we did not come back. At the school district we learned that charters have the same resources as public schools, Freedom just chose not to pursue them. In the Provo District our child was immediately evaluated for special ed and a recommendation to the district was made for an aid to help him. If your child has special needs or learning disabilities, stay away from Freedom Preparatory Academy.

u copied our school but we have PREP. and we have horses and rats in our bathroom and my mom ariana hu is a bad rebel kid. her sidekick caleb grande always slaps the students and teacher

Great school with great programs! Great student teacher ratio! Opportunities to advance in math. Covey leader in me program. Have loved our experience for the last 4 years with 2 children!

Horrible school. All I hear about it from my friends who go is the amount of kids who cut themselves, have mental breakdowns in class, the amount of kids who have tried to commit suicide. This school is not right for kids. The teachers push the students to hard, and do not make exceptions for students who are struggling mentally, physically, or academically. Do not send you children here for any reason. It is worth a longer drive to a diffrent school. No kid who goes to this school comes out okay. And the counsler for the students is conpletely oblivious to the problem. The faculty does not understand their students needs as much as they make you think.
