One of the nicer schools in the valley cottonwood high is very hard to navigate if you don't know where you're going. But the school is clean and looks well kept.

Poor school. It all starts with the principal and filters down. The confusing architectural design and the fact that they lease part of the building to a charter school do not help things.

As I was leaving the SLC VA yesterday, I stood to the side as several young men were unloading cases of poinsettia plants off a truck and placed them in the lobby. These were all well mannered young men. I asked one of the adults with these young men if the plants were for the veterans in the hospital. He immediately responded proudly and said "These young men of the Cottonwood High School Baseball Team raised money to buy these plants to bring them to the hospitalized veterans for the holidays". Thank you all for taking your time and effort for honoring the veterans!

Most teachers understand and are really open to working something out. I love the performing arts teachers. They love all their students. They are always making sure their students are taken care of. The music comittie is also amazing.

Its a small school with limited resources but it has a superb and dedicated staff with a vision for it's students. The students themselves are from diverse backgrounds from wealthy and worldly, anime freaks, drama nerds to your ordinary Utah kid down the street. The school emphasizes greatly on academics and early college credits with the goal of ultimately entering college.

My son has attended Cottonwood for his entire high school career. He is now a Senior and has grown into a creative and charismatic young man. He has been able to really harness and grow his many artistic talents, while being mentored in college preparation classes for his life beyond high school. This school has a strong artistic program, which you rarely see any more, all the while supporting student in striving academically. Thank you Cottonwood.....for my educated and prepared son, who is ready to walk into the real world and rock it!
