The whole place has a holier than thou mindset to it if your not in any of their programs, they treat you terribly. And yes, Openly glorifying a side that wanted to oppress anyone that wasn't white is bad and you should be ashamed you even wanted to keep it. Nothing about the change is wiping away history, its taking down something that was glorifying a horrible mindset, also don't worry, there's still a racist vibe with everyone

First of all let me state I am hispanic. My race has always had it hard also and always will. With that being said I like to apply my say in this fight. All of you have no right to say anything about a man that stood for his rights. The Confederate flag is not racist, a statue is not racist. It's the person that looks at them and has their own opinion. If you really did research on Robert E. Lee you would know at the end of the war he was willing to help Lincoln with the south to change. Why do people wish to start a fight where no one ever notice til someone wants to see race. over hundreds of students and parents have gone there and had no issue. Why push a issue that never was there. Just as all across the nation. People are wrong and racist even with out these flags and all. We are the south its our history. I'm proud and glad of the flag and name. I'm hispanic my heritage is with the Mexican flag. We owned Texas at a time. We beat the Alamo. Is our flag or General Antonio López de Santa Anna not permeted to have statue inTexas. If i remember correctly don't we have missions with them also. How can one be correct and not the other. Don't judge or be a hypocrite , you can't be for one and not the other. I'm sure you even think that The dukes of hazard was racist lol. They were just good old boys. FIGHT FOR SOMETHING WORTH WILD. HOMELESS, FOOD FOR HUNGRY PEOPLE, HELPING KIDS. DON'T FIGHT FOR THIS STUPID ISSUE. THIS IS RACIST AND HATE ON BOTH SIDES. FIGHT AND HELP THE OTHER ISSUES THAT WILL CHANGE PEOPLES MINDS. Went here for the Texas paralympic games this past week. It is very close to our Host Hotel which was great. it was only 6 miles down the road. There were so many people who need it easy access to get into the building, but I feel that this school needed to have a ramp that was closer to the door. The bathroom was close proximity to where we were inside, so that was an added Plus. Not sure if it was a principal or ROTC staff but he was pretty friendly when showing us where things were on the other side of the office. Lots and lots of kids at the school. It is huge. The only thing that I wish was different, is that it was easier to get out at the end of the day. Was very chaotic with all the traffic and people on the road already, which was in a residential area, do not want to even let you in even though they can't go anywhere.

My daughter graduated from ISA and like most of her friends, was accepted to a great university. She received scholarship that covers for all 5 years bachelors degree and Masters in a private institution out of state. She worked hard at ISA, but it was all worth it. The school curriculum helps develop a great cv and make you attractive to most universities.
