This school this year suck. The staff talk smart and sarcastic when u ask them about something. Like I literally walked asking where my child sign in the talked smart I was about to punch her in the face. They messed up my child's schedule when I asked to talk to the counselor the secretary answered my with a smart ads answer like oh we have 3000 student with there schedule messed. Overall a horrible school this year can't even deal with them.

I am getting ready to attend college in Nashville locally, and I honestly wish I could go back to my classes one last time and see all of my wonderful teachers. The teachers care about their students, the diversity is terrific in preparing you for the work force and communication skills, and Overton's academic curriculum challenges the student to extend beyond his/her knowledge. Stay focused in class, stay friendly to others, and you will have a great experience!

I have had 2 of my other children go through Overton starting in 2009.....the school has gone downhill...every year. Thank goodness my last child graduates this year. Dr. Pitman needs to retire!!

This is absolutely the worst school for a child, my child is very homophobic and has a terrible stuttering problem, that he gets made fun of a lot. (I have a picture of my beautiful sun in mai profil pitur) My son, James, gets mad when the students in his 1st block call him gay and throw walnuts at his mouth and ask him to suck them. I don't know what "gay" means but I heard it's really bad. I'd never go to this school.

Normal, mediocre school. Has talented students, though the forced idea of multiculturalism brings this school down with the terrible behavior of some kids they accepted from other countries.
