Ms McDavid is an excellent Principal and all the staff is friendly and helpful. I am blessed to have my granddaughter begin her education in such a wonderful school that is making such a positive impact that she loves her school and teachers!

My little sister went here and its horrible. She was being bullied and they didn't do ANYTHING to stop it. They promised they would solve it but they did nothing. This school is terrible for children cause if your child or sibling has an bullying issue, it wont be solved... Plus about the grades, they don't make since. I recommend Burgess or any other school besides this one.

My son has been mentally & verbally attacked by two teachers. His 2nd grade teacher, made him go in the garbage to retrieve a dirty paper. How disgusting! His 3rd grade teacher took no pride in advising me that he was slacking off with his studies. My son was Merit Honor Roll every quarter, with the exception of this last quarter! All it takes is a phone call, communication in his daily agenda to advise that he choose not complete a few of his assignments! How can a student get Merit Honor Roll every quarter & you see a child grades are slipping and you the teacher/adult couldn't care enough to call me? So together we could have turned this around. Unbelievable! You didn't fail to call me with a social issue, that even the principal agreed you handled in a wrong manner! Well the teacher response was "Horry County grading system is horrendous, although he got a C his percentile is 81%!" What a slap in the face, calling my son mediocre, average. It will be the last time I allow this to happen to my son. If your child attend this school think twice about enrolling him/her in Ms Mckoy or Ms. Barbour class!
