Meh, it's alright for what it's worth. Good staff and teachers, but the overall vibe of it is just... dim. Could make it a bit more enthusiastic for what it's worth.

The school building is outdated, but the district is getting a new one soon. The teachers and the alumni are excellent here compared to a lot of school districts. This is a wonderful school for students to learn at.

Graduated from here with most of the terrible teachers being fired by my 12th grade year (or sooner such as Ms. Korsah the worst math (geometry) teacher I've ever had learned barely anything from her class she litterally graded 5 things a semester (keep in mind a required class) had a points system from if you bring supplies or write answer right or wrong on the board literally the only way to pass her class is points but in such a big class its impossible to make it to the board. Her quizes were 5 questions randomly selected from random work sheets she'd never collect, so if you got 2 questions or more wrong its like you never did them and u have failed the main grade of the class, even if you show your work. I know what your saying parent reading this it's your fault the teacher knows whats best. Why did i pass the sol with a 430 something then off online studying. The next year (after Ms. Korsah failed me with an F. we had an excellent teacher (Mr. Motley) who actually helped us and would always motivate us to pass, guess what I got an A. He left however because the students were horrible acting but still did well on test and other work for the most part without cheating (most of the time). His replacement was useless but luckily i already learned unlike the main rowdy kids (who were 12th graders in a 10th grade class influencing their peers to rebel and talk and be loud and have fun) that didn't pay attention, hopefully they passed but if they failed they deserved it for the most part. I paid 250 for senior dues for a picnic at gross hadads lake, bbq and bouncy house in front yard of school, cap and gown, and diploma cover frame. No senior trip because our senior class heads couldn't figure out where they wanted to go. Smoking black and milds, rowdy wannabe kids, and fighting (weapons also) is a big problem here btw. Your child will have no good role model here just so you know raise your child right cause 2 students in the past year have died one from gang violence allegedly and one from stealing a car and crashing it. R.I.P. to them no offense

I am so disgusted with this school, my daughter is currently attending Thomas Jefferson.and let me say the staff and faculty are unfit to work with these students. especially Mr. Andrews and the school nurse. these two are so nasty and hateful not only to the students but to the adults...parents if you want your child mistreated send them Tee-Jay but if not send them elsewhere but not to Henrico High either.apparently the ex-principal Mr. Rodriguez was caught with his wife with drugs hmmm. I don't know what to say, but I do know that the school board needs to tighten , becuase my grade for them is an F!!!

Horribly outdated and overcrowded school, hopefully the board, staff and curriculum is much better than when I went from around 2000-2005
