Very good place with great ambience.

Great University, beautiful campus
Fdc
so good !
Best school in Pittsburgh!
master Degree Graduate of my son James Harris the 3rd. School of Great Educational Standards.
Beautiful university.
Awesome place, especially of you're a Comp Sci major. They offer a research program in Software Engineering called REUSE, look it up if you're interested!
I love the positive friendly clean studious, prosperous environment that this school provides for the community as well as the faculty and students
Best school worth the money.
People blowing their parent's hard earn dollars for a degree they don't need.
They really do seem to be the best robotics program in the nation.
Seems great. Hope they stick to the well known protocol that gives them integrity. Something may be questionable.

Great university
Great College for computer Science
World class education and the best in robotics and technology. Acting school and Business school are top notch.
Great school! Fantastic classes and research opportunities in computer science, and lots of students genuinely interested in learning.
My son goes there hence I have the privilege to see them perform. They support their students fully while they challenge them and put them under the same pressure they will be under in real life. They help with the tuition, more than you think. Most of all, they are at the top of each industry they teach. One of the top 5 in the world. No question.
Heaven! Excellent labs and serenity makes you work without getting tired!
I taught here for half a day… But I’ve known faculty here for years. Their programs are top-notch inter-disciplinary and encourage problem solving and critical thinking… They also have a keen focus on geospatial technology.… Design and much more. But the campus also is beautiful.
Do people in the liberal arts deserve to make more money than Engineering students just because they go to CMU and places like this. Is there some kind of massive delusion that actually studying really hard and working over eighty hours Per week should deserve much less pay. Students in the humanities and arts are usually lazy and uptight and trying to hide the fact that they do not want to work very hard. I am surprised by the level of stupiditet going on in general in the entire country. The arrogance that people use liberal arts degrees to basically turn others who even cant afford to work two or three jobs and cant attend community College so these people can even assert some kind of superiority complex and constant social comparison because they got into this school is ridiculous. And what is the Big deal about art. There is enough. You really dont need a degree in art. Its not like something bad is going to happen if someone didnt know what they were doing. Its not like an artist is better than a nuclear power company employee. Who cant make mistakes at work. Does anyone get it. Plato is right about the allegory of a Cave. You dont need a degree to read a book and enjoy learning. You dont need some kind of validation of others that what you say has any meaning if someone else told you exactly what to say and you got some kind of grade you are therefore better than someone else. And you dont know what the sine of thirty degrees is all about yet you must be better because your bank account says so
The school of computer science does teach you quite a lot!
As intense an undergrad experience as you can get. Living in Pittsburgh, I even had my "walked uphill both ways in the snow" stories. My time here has set me up for success through the rest of my life.
One of the best universities.
CMU made a better person
Good school
Full of smart, hardworking and friendly people.
A hostile, unsafe environment with abusive faculty and staff.
great college
Studying here is a great experience and the campus is also a great place to visit
The university I am currently attending and I'm proud of it
My son won many math and science state and national awards during his high school years. He got into CMU SCS in 2014. He is so very happy there. The atmosphere is really great for students who wish to learn, work hard with academics. He made lots of new friends at CMU who really appreciate math and sciences. They do geeky stuff for fun, such as doing puzzle hunts, creating video game, robotics or playing Quidditch. Excellent professors take a real interest in student learning and regularly have lunches with students. I will wholeheartedly recommend this school to others!
Should you be an artificial intelligence researcher or an interface designer, a robot lover or a software architect, CMU's school of computer science is the best home for you. You cannot even imagine its degree of awesomeness!
I've never seen a more excellent school in my life and one day I will go there hopefully and its so butiful
One of the best University ever.
You'll are v.lucky to learn in the great university....cuz it's located in near to ur hometown bt wat abt people like us....is ter any opportunities??!??#how ever all te best who s being apart of it...
best place ever!!! Smart and friendly people! Amazing and supportive professors! Beautiful and comfortable classrooms!
Not worth the money. So costly and huge class size. Don't even apply unless you dad is mukesh ambani
U can meet the legends in software engineering area.

We visited the Museum of natural art and history and we found It very interesting.
A really horrible place to go to college. I want my money back! Avoid at all costs
Recaptcha is annoying!!!
Top-notch!
Place where computer science is at its best!
We went on a campus tour. Very impressive!
Awesome
"My heart is in the work."
Great school, but campus visit was highly unpleasing.
CMU is one hell of a ride...
Beautiful campus and a very competitive engineering program
Super expensive school, and there is no reason to go this school unless you major in computer thingy. Maybe business school...? but still not that wise choice. You can go NYC business schools rather than the school in Pittsburgh. Anyway, I cannot give the good score for this school. Too expensive for the education. However, I must mention that computer science program is super good and they deserve that tuition.
Sometimes it's rough and As aren't just handed out left and right but it definitely gives you skills that are hard to find elsewhere.
Please please give us a better gym...
It has outstanding robotic facilities
Great tour by Alexander - his passion for the Drama/Theater/Design program shined throughout his presentation. Gave realistic statistics at the end of the tour and a great Q & A session.
Top research university
Great school. Now has a lot of asians, but still an elite technical school. Grounds are nice, next to Schenley park.
Check out the light up bridge at night.
Great campus. The people who did the tour were very informative.
I love this college!
You can just find famous people of Software Engineering field like nowhere else.

Best AI department in the entire world, by far.
Went on a tour, the tour guides were very unfriendly, didnt tell us anything and the atmosphere did not feel friendly and welcoming, more so it felt stressful. Never been so unimpressed! The campus is okay though.

"Last summer I went training with Bill G and learned a lot through the experience of the CEO of this business. When you go through many countries, we often lined up at the airport. Bill observed:" Mr. can be seen in some countries, people waited patiently for their turn, but in other countries, people often stampedes. people buy tickets are seats on the plane, then why do they have to push people other? it seems that the education of their lack of training etiquette and self-esteem. it still wants to become the national leader of the world, but just look at the preliminary evidence, chaotic, crowded and lack of self-esteem This is a long time for them to gain the respect of other countries, they may have economic power but want to go further. came far as economics is one thing, but literacy is a different story. "So he suggested going with us to the hotel to make sure we wouldn't get lost. We walked about fifteen minutes to the hotel. When we thanked the student, Bill asked him to have dinner with us but he refused because he needed to go home. At that time we found that he had to turn around in the opposite direction from where we were lost. The fact that a young man was willing to help strangers, even having to go back in the dark, impressed both of us. Bill told me: “When a young man of a country acts like that, the country has a future. That's what a country is world class (World Class). ” According to Bill, "world-class" is not a strong economy or how many millionaires or billionaires, how many universities or professionals, but world-class, are about how their citizens act .
Wow
Bloody hard as helll it will end your will to live but it amazing at the same time
Famous for computer science related field.
Great school for learning, nice area of the burg, would recommend if you are a driven student who knows what they want out of a degree. Not a good fit for the undecided frat dudes who want to party away 4 years.
Friendly staff . Friendly people . Lots of books
Challenging
By far one of the top research institutions in the world. Their projects have practical applications, and the effects of this university can be seen throughout the world. #1 in robotics, and #1 in my heart
CMU is a fantastic school. I went there 40 years ago but come back to visit every year, and it just keeps getting better. Now, everyone will say that about their Alma Mater, but honestly, the level to which CMU improves year to year is on par with any of the top-rated schools. The education you get here is excellent, and will serve you well if you apply yourself. It is also high-stress, so this kind of education is not for the faint-of-heart, but when you survive long enough to graduate, there is NOTHING you can't do!
(Translated by Google) It is small but it is pretty on campus. (Original) 작지만 캠퍼스 예쁘네요.
Graduated many moons ago, but I still have fond memories of it.
A very beautiful Place not far away from New York City.
Even if it takes you a while to adapt to Pittsburgh, you'll learn to love it. CMU is an exceptional place to learn.
Carnegie Mellon University has world-class faculty doing research in a number of fields including Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, and Mathematics. Their math program has been especially strong in recent years, competing with schools like Harvard and MIT for the top slot in the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition.
Pointless...$70k admission among other fees. No point to go here for 'tech' classes. Go to your local university and you'll do just as well. Promise.

I attended CMU for graduate school four years ago, and it's a shame it hasn't worked to fix any of its problems. The University at large caters to the elite, and is not accessible to anyone coming from a less than upper class background (it's nearly impossible to even eat a meal on campus for under $20.) The faculty and staff as a whole seem embittered for reasons I will never quite understand, it could be the environment as a whole which is consistently hostile in temperature and mood. The student body is only concerned with working for Google or Pixar, hardly much of a place for other forms of research. Disappointed that my Alma mater wasn't a good fit, and seems like a school destined to cause others damage down the line.
(Translated by Google) Very good school, it is very small! A punching point at the door, "God ladder" (Original) 很牛逼的学校,就是很小!门口一个打卡点“上天梯”
Be prepared! CMU is a very competitive environment - it's the students against the homework! A great place to become a scholar and a World-changer.
as a student or staff, you have very good facilities to do sports for free.
In 1990 Carnegie Mellon U. appeared on PBS as students were working on robotics operating a pizza shop. Some former family friend's sent their daughter to CMU it was a big deal for them. Their daughter was a C average student with a portfolio who chose to study costume design at CMU for 4 years. I would much rather study robotics and would love to walk into a calzone shop and see robots in action making dough and assembling and baking the calzone. I don't care for the world my mother inhabits and those former family friends bug me what they do to improve their prestige and status [what a waste of time, honestly]. "Now Tommy you need to wear this costume for this play." The fabric needs to go here and not there and be this color. Why should I care. I don't like the humanities and art is not such a big deal to me that I'd like to NOT learn and figure out a single about science/technology. I think my mother is bored by the Hubble telescope. We don't really get along. Does anyone from that documentary remember the robotics project. I have no idea why engineering students are required to take humanities classes meanwhile the humanities students dont have to take a single challenging class
If I could be anywhere, it would be Carnegie Mellon. I can't find any faults with any aspect of the school. Simply amazing.
Great university for STEM and design students:) Lovely students and professors!
Best school of computer science on this planet.
I normally walk around the campus playing Ingress. The students do student things and the grounds are well kept. The unique architecture makes this campus feel modern.
Very good for learning and researching in U.S.
I love CMU so much. A lot of people seem to dislike it for its intensity, but I find that the people help make it so much more manageable. The atmosphere here is definitely one of collaboration, and the people I've met have been incredible. The CS school teaches you so much, and it's just a wonderful institution to me.

What a beautiful campus in a great, central location. I wish we had visited it during the school year so we could have gone on a tour and seen some of the inside.
Every course I took in Carnegie Mellon was so useful in my professional works now, especially the computer related courses made me so outstanding. This is a great school to make smart people smarter.
Really not worth the investment, mostly just pretentious snobs
Great school.
Best. Place. Ever. The people are inspiring and the environment is intellectually stimulating. We DO have fun despite us not being a school big on sports. I am a proud Tartan and will forever be.
Fantastic University! One of the top ranked universities in the United States, especially in Computer science and Robotics. Also one of the most expensive universities! The campus is decent. The location is pretty good. It is very well connected to almost all the locations of the city due to its central location.
My daughter went to Carnegie is a great school
School of Computer Science is the crown jewel of CMU. Even with 200 faculty members, it only enrolls 200 undergraduates each year. So the students are as good as those in Stanford, MIT, HPY. CMU is ranked number one in Computer Sciences by research papers. If your kids are determined to pursue CS major, this could be a better choice than most Ivy colleges. FYI, computer engineering major is not within SCS. The say it’s next to impossible to transfer into SCS from other six schools in CMU.
Excellent!
Jaymie. Edwards
Top ranked college in technology and robotics
Four of the best years of my life was spent here! The atmosphere is particularily great for students who wish to learn, work hard with academics and do geeky stuff for fun, such as doing hackatons, robotics or playing Quidditch. Excellent professors who take a real interest in student learning and invite students on all levels to participate in research are commonplace. I will wholeheartedly reccommend this school to others!
Great university, nice campus.
Pretty awesome campus, faculty, and students, but there isn't much to do in the surrounding area.
Great university for those with a passion to learn. Wonderful professors who are passionate about their field and willing to help students achieve their potential. There is a diverse range of clubs to fulfill most interests. If there isn't one you are encouraged to start a club of your own.
Studying at CMU is a fantastic experience. If you love Computer Science and are ready to work hard, then there's no better place than CMU for you.
Great university. Great people. Great memories.

For any upcoming freshman or high school seniors that are still applying to colleges and are worried about this being the most antisocial school ever, rest assured that the atmosphere is super warm and you'll be greeted with a fun and expressive welcome during orientation. I'm literally writing this during my own orientation so I may not have the best insight - but so far everything has been great.
The worst college experience imaginable.
One of the best universities in the world and probably the best for computer science. Beautiful campus and very smart people. City can be dreary though.
This is a really cool school in Pittsburgh. Located just beyond Pitt University. Super smart and interesting kids. Lots of creatives. Excellent design program. It gets cold in Pittsburg, though, so pack accordingly. Also near the Pitt University Hospital, which is top notch.
Great, Great, Great school. Very good at everything they do!
