The school has a bad reputation but it really is a good school and many of the students and teachers there are friendly.

School was very classist and didn't even let kids who werne't as fortunate succeed. Don't go to this school...it says top rated but its all bs don't buy it

"criminals" get away with everything here, don't go. they may get a suspension but not an expulsion, and the actual school isn't even notified about these people, we get notified by the rumors and videos and what not that go around.

Loved my time at NEHS... The family bond created between the students and staff is unlike anything other Eugene high schools have described their school to be like. North Eugene is truly unique and I am proud to be a Highlander

Moved here to Eugene; and went and saw the curriculum guide. I was so happy to see they have Japanese classes; and Nate Sensei is the best! (Also the other teachers too!; Rivera (The health teacher is awesome) Don't judge from the outside of the school. look on the inside and there's a whole lot of new tech and new school supplies (Science books, etc..) the school is well really clean as well. Very satisfied. with the quality of the teachers and the Teacher's teaching.

I moved to North Eugene HS halfway through tenth grade. It's amazing how the staff can impact quality of learning. I had mediocre grades up until then in Salt Lake & at Churchill HS. After I moved to NEHS I earned STRAIGHT A's and B's through the end of the eleventh grade and held my head above 2.0's through the end. I'd like to thank Miho Hosaka -& Peter Tromba- for a big part of it. She was transfered to NEHS from Churchill and she has at least four different subjects she has taught. I absolutely hope that parents and teachers pay attention to their children, credits, and grades. Credit goes to Bill Gates too! Thank you, BG :) The school truly earned it.

While i was a student at North Eugene High, it wasn't uncommon to see other kids going as far as to break the law. My first year attending this High School i witnessed two students (I will not give names) smoking cigarettes at the courtyard. The students were caught and faced consequences for their actions. However, the rest of my years spent here were terrible, i'd recommend no parent even think about sending their child to this disgusting place.
