It’s gotten so bad a girl died here. Rather than driving out hostile/violent/gang affiliated children they keep them in an isolated wing similar to JDC (that they keep off the books on their site for some particular reason.) If children are struggling with depression or suicidal ideation they are moved into this wing, surrounded by fogged out windows, padded rooms and pushed into a boot camp style education program isolated from the outside world. They used to call it the “Quest Program” but never mentioned that children could be detained against their will behind locked doors with “special” meals that composed of the equivalent of jail leftovers. The school campus is beautiful, and welcoming, but don’t let that fool you. This ugly little building on campus managed by wannabe prison guards with emotional complexes is the worst part, and it’s cheaper for them to throw you there than send you home. Don’t ever send your child here. They might not come back alive or with a mentally healthy view on boarding schools. To my old friends who were wrongfully sent to the delinquent wing, I hope you’re okay.
