I went to this school for 2 years and I've got to say, unless youre a sports fanatic you wont be getting very far im this school. You shold definitely consider a different district, especially if you enjoy art and music, since the budget for those courses in this school is so low, theres not even a theatre program which almost all schools in new york state offer.

The education here was fair but in terms of the social studies department, I found later a lot of miseducation from what we were taught. Like a lot. The school has much work to do, additionally, to better serve its lgbtq+, young women and girls, and other marginalized students. The school is full of students of non-white backgrounds yet the staff does not reflect this and also had racist faculty working here.

This school is a great school located in a great neighborhood. Teachers and staff really care. Student diversity and quality has declined so school test scores reflect that but the school has a strong alumni network in the tri-state area and many locals are graduates.
