Attended 4 years of school here and while high school experience is always a rollercoaster from a student perspective, Roosevelt provided the platform for me academically to move forward in life. And Roosevelt is continuing to provide more and more. Every year there are more AP classes, more clubs and organizations, and more support programs for students. After the reconstruction of the campus is complete, the school is going to have a plethora of opportunity for students and as an alumni I am very excited to see that.

It's an okay school with amazing teachers, but that's about it. The lack of Gender Neutral bathrooms is disappointing. You would think that the people in charge of the remodel would include more GN restrooms. There are only two (that I saw, and was informed about) in the new building. I suppose that's better than before with only one in the old building. The kids are really good at keeping the floors clean, but not the grounds, nor do they treat the neighbors' yards well. I've seen milk cartons and sometimes even food on the grass and it just appalls me. I wish the staff (I'm not talking about the teachers here) was a bit more LGBTQ friendly though. They have a QSA club, but they (the school) don't talk about it or mention it on the website.

Roosevelt High School is a wonderful and improving school. Gourmet meals are served for breakfast and lunch. Most teachers are very kind, and all are passionate about teaching. This school is great and any one will love it!

When I went to register my son the nurse was so rude she was yelling at me trying to explain something to me that I already had understood. She was telling the female bilingual security guard to tell me everything she had to tell me when I speak and understand English and she was in a terrible attutude and was very racist. People like this should stay home if they can't deal with people or do their Job profesionally.
