As a student in the middle school, I have a lot to say about Quest. The first year I went to this school, it was alright; the teachers knew what they were doing, the kids were respectful... Now, its hard to even feel safe in the hallways. We were promised no interaction with the high schoolers if we applied to this school, along with a lot of others things. (That we didn't get, such as the swimming pool, half days, etc) Now, high schoolers are in the cafeteria for at least 10 minutes after us middle schoolers come in. Several fights have erupted over the past year. On the 5 floor, we constantly cross high schoolers fighting and yelling as we go to class. Like I said, its hard to feel safe. The curriculum is fine, I guess. But we don't have as much freedom as we did last year. (Which is the new principals doing, but I can't blame him. I'd find it hard to trust these kids as well.)
Overall, I regret putting Quest on my list. I'll survive this last year, as I'm definitely not putting Quest down for my highschool application. I dont want to have to deal with a school were you have to deal with the younger kids skipping in the lunch line, throwing food at you, trying to pick fights. I dont want to go to a school where the high schoolers- our supposed 'role models' are fighting and doing other questionable things around us. Safety is an important thing for me, and Quest does not live up to my expectations. I feel bad for saying this, but I definitley dont regret it. If I were you, I wouldn't go to this school.
