I don't even like raspberries.

As a student of this school I can say that while some of the parts of this school are sub par it still provides a wide variety of opportunities in terms of sports and clubs. Yes, our sports teams rarely win, and no, our budget isn't nearly as large as those of many other schools. Yet I enjoy every second of my time spent on the football field with my friends, dominate as an individual on the wrestling team with spectacular coaching that I would be lucky to find at a college level, and have great academic opportunities including a wide range of AP classes with good teachers. The engineering department provides great opportunities in learning with programming, robotics, architectural engineering, electrical engineering, and woodshop classes all headed by my personal favorite teachers in the school. Further, I find that there is enough people in the school that a student can find plenty of peers with shared interests while also not feeling lost in a sea of people. I personally associate with multiple groups ranging from the athletes that I lift, tackle, and wrestle with to the kids that I play Magic the Gathering with after school on Tuesdays and the Dungeons and Dragons group that I find time for on Fridays. So many people on this forum are complaining about budget related issues, the few teachers that aren't top notch because we can't pay for better, the lower quality lunch service that we love to complain about, the use of an address hall for a theater (that we still manage to sell out every show due to the great directors), but ConVal is truly a good place for a student who knows what they want to accomplish. There are opportunities abound that just need to be acted upon by the students if they want to accomplish their goals. AP classes to be taken, student leadership positions to show colleges leadership potential. This is a good school and I personally am finding great success here.

How crass and disturbing for a Public High School to disapprove of a graduating student's achievement. The Principal's crass attitude of not recognizing the strength and excellent character contained within the school's student body. To not let a Marine wear his Class A Uniform to his Graduation is a disgrace upon the Principal and the Principal alone. The Principal should be terminated immediately. Parents, this Principal does not have the best interest for your children at heart. This Principal did what he thought was politically correct, instead of what was correct for this now dead Marine. To let him wear his US Marine uniform to his own graduation. Shameful and disgusting!!! Boycott New Hampshire!!! Isn't the New Hampshire motto, 'Live free, or die'? This Principal has lost his way and is not focus'd on his school…but is instead focus'd on what he believes to be as politically correct. Is this why he went to the Student Counsel instead of being an adult leader? Instead of acting like a High School Principal he now throws the poor decision upon his student's government body. Mr Principal, how you were ever allowed to be around children in the first place is beyond knowing.

Incredible school with an incredible principal. Wouldn't want it any other way. Those who bad mouth this school haven't taken the time to appreciate what it offers.

School's okay. The real reason why this school is still open is because of the sick $0.75 deal they have on raspberry sherbet.

Brian Pickering was my daughters AAU basketball coach for the 2015 (first season ever for the Lady Gym Rats) 5/6th grade girls. This guy is a class act. He wouldn't scream at the girls like most coaches. He made sure all the girls got time to play and most importantly learn. You could see the confidence building in each game. His approach lost some but also led to two tournament championships. Hope he is up for another season. Thanks coach Pickering!

I also agree with Rowan, the sherbet is like liquid gold, it is even a steal for 75 cents. This school might have to be in jail for the theft. The raspberry kind is one of the best kind that there is, but the birthday cake comes in a close second. But anyways the school isn't half bad, the teachers might need to take some drugs to get off their periods all the time, but all teachers need to. BUT FOR REALSIES, THE SHERBET IS THE BEST THING EVER AND TASTES LIKE SEX!!!!

Many of the teachers here are good, fun to have and always find some time in class to get a little off topic, but not enough to derail the learning. In these classes I find that learning is enjoyable and the day goes by smoothly. However, the rest just really suck at teaching. They don't make their classes interactive with movement or conversation and fail to realize that this isn't middle school where all rules must be followed.

better than suck meadow school with cheap-ass lockers, stone biscuits, food that had been marked 6/2/18 on 6/6/18 (yes true story), and moldy hamburger buns
