Independence School district took the helm in 2007 and since then Van Horn High School has been a great place for my children to prepare to go to college. VH is a high quality education and the leadership at Van Horn allows for the kids to be mentored and supported in thier interests. Coaching, Teaching and Administration work well together as they focus on the kids. Thank you for the good work.

I worked here for about a year and a lot of the teachers are awesome! The students are well mannered and care about their education. The school is only going to look better with all the upgraded and renovations they are doing.

Love van horn, the kids feel like it is a safe environment, they do very well here, the teachers work with the students. Awesome turn around here. I have had three graduate from here, two there now and two coming up. ... wouldn't have them any other place.

I love Van Horn, it's a great environment and there a lot of fun after school activities to do if you have nothing else to do. The teachers here are great and always want what's best for the students. I recommend you to come to this school and check it it, it has helped me a lot with enjoying actually going to school.
