A really bad school when it comes to bullying and gives people the wrong impression for high school and middle school. Dont recommend. In the tour they showed all of the good features and stuff you wanna see. not the stuff that is actually happening.Also mean teachers. (Ms.Sutter) But with ther flaws they are some good teachers.(Mr.MacPhail)

Weaver Lake Elementary is a AWESOME school. I've sended all three of my kids there. The youngest has been there since kindergarten and is now in first grade. Second oldest has been there since 1st grade and now is in fifth. Oldest has been there from 3rd grade to 5th grade. There is acceptance in the school. There is hardly any bullying EVER in the whole school. Weaver Lake Elementary is a S.T.E.M school which stands for science,technology ,engineering, and math/magnet school. Weaver lake is an GREAT school. I recommend with 100/100 wait no... make that 1,000,000/1,000,000.

We absolutely love Weaver Lake Elementary STEM school. My son came in as a 4th grader has grown more in the 2 years here than all his others grades combined. The teachers and staff are so caring. My son likes going to school and that's saying a lot for an 11 year old. I highly recommend checking this school out, I am so glad we did.

I'm going to 7th and graduated from Weaver. It was exciting and always had a different and entertaining ways to learn. We built robots, lived in the past, directed our own stop motion animation, and launched rockets. All following our school motto "What's The Big IDEA Weaver Lake." For us it was to Inquire Discover Explore Achieve Weaver Lake was my home away from home.

The facility is nice. I have heard it's a good school from some friends that have kids attending school here. Nice playground outside that can be accessed via bike trails. Also, a nice sledding hill.

My son is a kindergartner and he loves it. My son has high functioning autism and has truly blossomed here. There has been no incidents of bullying and my son looks forward to going to school everyday. I find that they strive to create an environment where all types of learners can thrive. My son loves the "What's the big idea?" concept. I have volunteered at many STEM activity days and am amazed at how the kindergartners are grasping concepts of science and technology that I don't remember learning about until a lot later in life.

I am a current Osseo Senior High Sophomore, whom went to Weaver Lake when it first became a Magnet school. The teachers I had were chronic liars, and rude. They treat students as ignorant imbeciles. Which I must say is quite true with elementary schoolers. However they said such ludicrous things to radiate their own nonexistent knowledge. Teachers give students the wrong Idea of Middle, and High School. They make it seem more dreadful, and harsh than it really is. Setting up kids for failure in High School. Staffing apart from Teachers is poorly chosen. Custodians were very old, and didn't seem to enjoy talking to children. Only thing to compliment is this schools sheer size, and funding it receives. Though some of my impressions may be outdated. Based on the miniscule amount of staff changes. I am pretty sure I'm still right. If you're going to send your child to a District 279 school. You're better off sending them off to Edinbrook, or Oak View.
