First off not a student or a parent of a student. This review is just to comment on the beauty of the campus and the surrounding environment. Everyone I've met who attended St. Olaf has been a well-rounded person. We walked around the campus and just took in the environment and grounds.

I went to Saint Olaf between 1996 and 2000. It was easier than high school and kind of like a summer camp, which I liked. I made great friends, for which I will be forever grateful. It cost $25K or so when I was there. The estimated expenses in 2012 are more than $50K. That's more than $5,500 / month for summer camp and mediocre academics.

Had to stop in so Bobbie could get a picture to join the Betty White/Rose Nylund Golden Girl Fan Club, lol. It really is a beautiful campus, and the town of Northfield is one of my favorite places to visit.

Not a student here but I've visited over a dozen times throughout the past year and every time I've gone the student atmosphere is that of elitism and cliques. The school puts up a facade of put-togetherness, but in reality most of their clubs and resources are nothing but that.

The healthcare of this campus are totally awful. The hours for it is 9-11:30 and 1-4 which make no sense at all. Also you need a appointment just to get in. Its like they don't even care about their students enough to give them decent medical help. Even elementary schools have better care then this. We deserve a walk-in medical care like the rest of the good colleges around the area so when we are sick we don't have to fit into THERE schedule when its us who are paying 50 grand a year just to be here.

As a high school student I feel like I need to be as informed as possible about which school is best for me. When I attended my tour at St. Olaf I was disappointed to find that they were not on time, or well informed about what made the school so special. They did not seem to have a very good set up for if you are out at night and did not seem to engage themselves in the possible students lives. Overall, I found it slightly underwhelming, and not a place I would want to attend
