I am not a review writer, but I feel I need to express my disappointment with how M-state Moorhead has let down their students. They did not fulfill their promises, cutting a 2-year culinary program after the first year. Then, when weeks without a professor went by, students were told the school only needs to provide 70% of curriculum and instruction. Even though they demanded 100% payment, and will not give any reimbursement. Now, when students are trying to complete a culinary program elsewhere, M-State Moorhead refuse to provide necessary information to aid in the transfer process. Furthermore after reviewing the classes that were taken, the students will have to retake some those classes due to the amount of materials missed at M-State Moorhead.

I would rate 0 stars if I could. They expect everything to be run off their website, which is horribly laid out and devoid of information. They said I wouldn’t be able to register for classes because I didn’t pay their fees to apply, which I did, and they somehkw lost my high school transcript. I had to send them proof with screenshots on my computer. They also accepted me into the major program I wanted, only to tell me I’m not accepted because the class is full, despite that I register for the classes in this major the very next day. And,, just like every other Minnesota school, they love to give full ride scholarships to foreigners, just because they have brown skin, to promote “diversity”; whatever that means. So much for helping out the local community first. Affirmative actuon at its finest.

The instructors are amazing ( for the classes I took). HOWEVER, the administration leaves a whole lot to be desired. No updated dates for Financial Aid, non updated website pages, lack of communication. Really disappointed because I had such great teachers. MState needs to really step it up.

Problems with the teachers. for example math teacher keep skip things from book because he's tied on time. at the end of semester we don't learn much about math . Just wasting money....
