It's a good school...the flooring is falling apart it's just not very welcoming!

Received my second degree here and they accepted a respectable number of credits from a previous college. Someone from admin called me a year or so after graduation and asked if I had gotten anywhere with my degree. When he found out what I was doing and where I had gotten in life he nearly dropped the phone. Thanks DCTC for sending me places in life I didn’t think were possible. But remember folks what you get out of it isn’t any more than what you put in.

This school has been a godsend over the past 7 months. Genuine teachers that make the classes engaging, nice environment, and great culture. Support to students has been incredible for me so far. Being current military, it was tough to find a school that would transfer my CCAF credits that I earned while in tech school. DCTC made things silky smooth when transferring them over. Do not hesitate to check this place out.

My phone calls get transferred to a voicemail almost every time I call, and in most departments. This obsticle makes it challenging for students who don't have time to drive out to the campus and meet with the admin(s) to get their questions answered.

I have been here multiple times. I've been here when my brother Josh was getting his early childhood education degree here & i came in to talk with his class once. I came here for there "Boy Nerds convention". It was a huge boy gathering. So boys were everywhere!

Transferred here from Saint Paul Tech. Attended the open house, where staff seemed to really care for their students-but after a year of being at this school, it was clearly all show..Which is hurtful, because I transferred here due to bad communication and poor set up-seems like it's a struggle here too. I am starting nursing school and have no idea what to expect-the first day is 2 days away and I have no email from my teachers on what to bring, what to wear, or if class is even on site. I have even reached out to my teachers and spoke to them a month ago and still feel just as lost and overwhelmed. Jonathon Ohara is a terrible adviser-not returning my emails or voicemails, spoke to him once in the year I have been here-I have asked Brenda to take over and she is doing a great job-the only staff member that I know. Also when buying books and supplies online-not everything is mentioned, so I thought all I needed was the books I spent $400 on, but after the first day I found I needed a black medical bag (with mediocre/play purpose only supplies-which we will need to buy the good stuff too) for another $100 and a patch..

I’ve been here for two years, the teachers are amazing and I like the way they’re teaching us and also they’re nice and helpful. Also the facilities they do help me in every time. Every single person is working there is nice and offers good service to help students. I like DCTC.
