although some of the teachers seem to not care about their job the nice teachers who genuinely care about the students make up for the bad apples.

Before I attended Jackson High School, I attended Jackson Christian. The transition has been really good for me. The thing that sets Jackson apart from Jackson Christian is that the academics. The academics at Jackson High are at a different level. I have gotten into honors classes and advanced classes that Jackson Christian doesn’t have. Jackson High also has a lot more elective that JCS does. JCS, you got to pick two classes and that was it. Here, at JHS, you can pick from many different electives. The classes are JHS’ strength. Without the classes I’ve taken at JHS, I wouldn’t be as well rounded or prepared.

I am a Sophomore at Jackson High School. It is a great environment and place to learn. The teachers are nice and understanding. There are several different lunch choices. There is a viking store that has merchandise and sells low calorie snacks. Jackson High is a school of achievement and strives for greatness for all students.

I attend this school and its pretty great. This school has its goods and bads but i see more of the positives. It gives you a good jump start for college giving you college AP classes. It also isnt your typical school of your normal classes, you have fun classes too to choose from. I take classes like Oceanography and lifeguarding/cpr and it definetley makes the day better than just sitting in class, learning the same old topics. The activities are really fun as well. Clubs like key club, tea club, and so much more. I recommend this school to anyone who likes a fun time.

I have been attending Jackson High School for almost two years and it was the greatest experience of my life. For the most part the teachers, administrators, and staff are kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The building is massive and resembles a medieval castle. There is a giant graffiti-friendly rock in the front where students can express themselves artistically. The location is also perfect for the modern teenager. Located near beautiful downtown Jackson the school is the gem of the great mitten state. The third floor climate is perfect for the outdoor lover as it is within 5 degrees of the outside climate. If you haven’t taken a class at Jackson high you should, all the cool kids are doing it. And you are 95%* more likely to get accepted into college if you go to Jackson High. So why not join Viking Nation? You will not regret it! 10 out of 10 IGN.

I am a sophomore that attends Jackson High school and I am pleased to say that there are many benefits that come with attendance to the school. Jackson High school offers a very diverse environment, wide range of advanced classes, and great opportunities for extra curricular activities. All of these things are great benefits to have at a school,and I am proud to say that my school offers all of those things.
