Go CT! I'm from the class of 2017 and this is a great school in my experience. I learn about opportunities everyday such as student exchange programs and plenty of good college connections etc. This schools rigor forces me to look toward the future. This, however, is not a school where negative people will thrive too well just as any other place and situation.

This is the best place to educate your child. I have had 2 sons who have graduated from Cass and one who is a current student. My oldest is a U of M graduate and my middle son is at CMU studying engineering. The legacy of excellence in education means that the list of alumni are long and far reaching. There is something in the culture of the school that breeds altruism. We have hands from all over the world reaching out to pull our children up and arms that open up to nurture them in their journey. The most impressive thing I can say about Cass is that opportunities come into Cass, take our children by the hand and guide them to their future.

The school is great, the teachers are great and the staff is great. The clubs are great and they're a LOT of clubs to join. I am in 4 different clubs like, Japanese club, VGC, Anime club and graphic novel club. My favorite is VGC because it is a club ALL about gaming. You can bring your consoles and play them with others. Cass is also around many food and activity places also the Detroit Main Library which is a phenomenal place to visit. Overall Cass is a great school. Cass tech 2nd to none!

Me and my wife just got back at the beginning of September from my 30 year class reunion in Cancun at Secrets Maroma Beach. Some of the friends I made in high school are still some of my closest friends. I wouldn't trade my Cass Tech experiences for anything.

Cass Tech, #1, Second to None! Graduated from Cass Tech and I'm definitely reaping the benefits right now. Cass Tech is a college preparatory school that ensures that its students transition successfully into major universities and most WITH SCHOLARSHIPS! I had a full-ride! I Love Cass Tech, you develop great associates, friendships, and skills that are unbeatable. Not to mention watching your friends/h.s. peers all blossom successfully and get out and explore. There's way more out that than just Michigan! Cass Tech alumni always do BIG things! You'd never be surprised running into fellow Technicians while traveling nationally or ABROAD! Our Alumni Network is the strongest! My experience at Cass Tech was invaluable! I wouldn't change anything about it! :)

70% of the teachers don't teach, they just give busy work. Also most teachers don't really look at what you turn in, they just put a check mark or something on it.

I just graduated this year. There are certain ups and downs to worry about like Senior-itis and the amount of work expected of you. There are plenty of clubs to go into, like Video Game Club, Japanese Club, Korean Culture Club, and other serious groups. And despite what everyone thinks JROTC is not very hard and isn't all about marches. Everything depends on your own attitude, time management, and of course the right teacher.

I graduated from Cass Tech after summer school in August 1943 and went directly to the Army. After basic training in northern Illinois. I was interviewed by a soon- to- be- Brigadier General who was setting up a Field Hospital. He knew of Cass Tech and said I would make a good x-ray tehcnician and sent me off to school in Springfield, Mo. There for six days a week eight hours a day we studied each bone in the human anatomy down to the smallest detail as well as the chemistry and physics of the x-ray process. Exams were a weekly affair and those who didn't pass were sent to a Replacement Depot in New Jersey for reassignment somewhere in Europe. What a great incentive to study hard! Class Tech had set the standard for hard study so this was not difficult>

Erinn Marcum '15 ... Cass tech alumni.... I am a music student at Wayne State University. The only african american woman in my theory class and according to my teacher could have tested out of my current music class, thanks to Cass. From experience, where ever you go there is a technician somewhere in the crowd. You are held to higher expectations but its your job to reach the technician within an surpass whats expected.ALWAYS proud to state where i have graduated from.

Yes people do argue if its a good school or not. What they don't understand is not just Cass Tech but it can be all schools. Cass Tech did have a few ups and downs along the way but they had handle it like a pro and now its advance, have more opportunities and education there is great. I'm in my sophomore year here and I'm really happy that I made it so far and cannot wait to graduate. In my opinion the people here are very sweet and the teachers want you to succeed no matter what. I'm very happy that I made the right decision to come here.

Class of 1982! I was actually accepted in the Architectural Civil Construction Technology (ACCT) program as a Senior! Very rare for Cass to accept someone in their Senior year! However, it was the apex of my young life. I would have to credit the school for jump starting me into a Military career that spanned 23 years to include completing five college degrees. I will never forget how the Senior Class, teachers, and counselors welcomed me with open arms (smile). My cousin actually followed me two years later--she's a practitioning Psychologist in Detroit. Cass is more than an education; it's an experience. An experience that I will never forget!

This school talks big but it is so annoying . What school gives incoming freshmen so much summer homework. Most teachers also don't give a thought about the students education or grade. It's just really annoying. Second to Access and Frontier!
