Assumption College for me was the best career foundational decision I ever made. I had the option to go to Harvard or Yale but Assumption was the better choice. I am a 1968 graduate. The education I received here allowed me to go on to a very successful career as an Army Officer and Aviator and then to retire and form my own very lucrative business. Until Christ be formed in you. This was the motto and goal of the College. Equally to instill in us through enlightened education the qualities we would need to make the world a better place. The college more than exceeded my expectations and give it my highest recommendation.

The quality of the education at Assumption is bad and it won’t get you ready for real life career unless you end up taking outsourced courses. This college should be for general studies only.

Taylor dining hall is inconsistent in their quality of food. The steamed vegetables are like rubber, the pasta is often overcooked, and overall poor quality food. Every couple of times a week they serve something decent, but it's a gamble. Once I got coffee from Taylor when it opened at 7:30 am and I unknowingly put bad cream in my coffee and was sick all the next day. I came to realize that they let the milk sit there overnight and don't always change it right when they open. The juice isn't real juice, it's just powder mixed with water, same as the eggs. As for Charlie's, I have very few complaints. The food is pretty good, the burgers are decent - not UNH quality like I had become accustomed to when visiting my boyfriend but it will curb your craving for a burger.

The service at Taylor's dining hall is horrible and so is the quality of food. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. In my many experiences visiting my sister and eating here, they always close early and never have any food for those who have allergies. I'm allergic to gluten and the only option I have are carrots and hamburgers, in which most of the time I can't eat with having to go up 700 time to ask for more. I paid $12 to eat at an all you can eat buffet and I get to eat not even enough to count as a snack. If you try to ask for more the first time they will say no and then if you even want to have a small conversation while eating the first helping, they will be closed and take away all the food. Also the events for the family weekends and everything suck and are a waste of money. You have more chances of having fun if you just stay home and sleep.

This place has excellent facilities. We like to come to the annual week-long Apostolic Leadership Institute in July. We sleep in the dorms, eat the tasty meals prepared by the college staff, and use the classrooms throughout the day. Campus police have their offices in the same building we use for classes. The grounds are well kept and great for walking.

One star is generous. They cannot be reached by phone. I've tried last Fri. 7/12 /2019 and today 7/17/2019 , several times each day, with and without the preceding "1".Every telephone number is met with an error message, so getting them to respond is impossible. Setting up an appointment in the distance future...two weeks away, is definitely not efficient. All I need to know is if they have my program, and I am not provided with either an effective phone number or an email address. I wonder how they arrange 'going to school' there. Phil Glatz
