I remember almost all of my teachers at this school, especially 4th grade (1994-95) and 5th grade (1995-96). I was SLD from fall of 1990 through spring 1994. Linda DeMann was my 3rd grade teacher, Sandra Smith, Cloteal Hamilton, and Kathy Barton were my 4th grade teachers. My 5th grade teachers were Pearl Zwahlen, Patricia Tharpe, and Tisha Hoaas. My SLD teachers were Carlolyn Bryant and Stephanie Landry. YEP after school with Carla Moore was so awesome. Also, I will NEVER forget Dr. James Gillespie, whenever this school had its time capsule back in November 1995. Hard to believe that it's been 20 years since I left this school - May 29, 1996.

I loved Riverside Elementary school This is a very good school because I went there when I was in the third grade which was in 2013-2014 and graduated in fifth grade which was in 2015-2016.They have higher curriculums. Then I left there now I'm at Youree Drive middle AP magnet school about to go to Captin Shreve high school They do let you know if your child is failing Great school

I loved this school I went here in 1st grade and half of 2nd grade and I was saddened that I had to move....there were a lot of activities such as eating very delicious sack lunches with many treats outside during lunch and being rewarded with pizza and goodie bags for being a star student...I miss this school a lot and my teacher was Mrs.Harris is 1st and Mrs.Rogers in 2nd

This school has lots of great resources. They have a food pantry located inside the school for the families of the students. They also have Midtown mental health branch located in the school. A great special needs Therapist team. Also have a Boys and Girls branch for after school care..

This was my school from kindergarten all the way to fith grade. I was in the fith grade in 2012. That school helped me to move on to Caddo Middle Magnet. I highly recommend this wonderful Elementary school.

My daughter attends Riverside and she transferred from another school and started her second grade year there. She is now going to the fourth. I love that family feel! Very good teachers, and a very welcoming atmosphere! Your child will not be just a number at Riverside!
