Stay away from this doctoral program! As of Jan 2018, there have been only NINE graduates from the EdD program (which started in 2013 yet boasts that it offers a three year completion timeline). The doctoral program was changed midway through, and students were not given the option to remain with their original program requirements. Students were told that some already completed mandatory courses would no longer count. Many students had their graduation date extended by a minimum of six months, through no fault of their own. A refund for those redundant courses was offered, but there is no way to get back the long hours and effort already expended.
A (very) few professors are outstanding. But too many professors provide minimal or no feedback, if they even give the papers more than a cursory glance. While the professors have doctorates, they do not appear to be specialists in the subject area of their courses, with many obviously having less subject matter knowledge than the students. Grading tends to be very easy. APA formatting seems to count for much more than content and analysis. The administration is awful, disorganized, and decidedly unhelpful. The tuition is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, the EdD program is a joke. I would never recommend this program!
