Great college with a great atmosphere. Go Cats !
The beach is beautiful! The rocks are painted art!
Awesome Campus!
Beautiful campus!
This is the school that I like to attend
Northwestern University. Dress in Purple.
Exceptional faculty, diverse and motivated student body, an inspiring academic environment and a history of excellence. What more could you ask for?
Beautiful university right on the water.
northwestern university medical school, and the university itself are among the finest schools in the world, and will open doors into this world for all students. byron lee monroe, m.d., f.a.a.p., founder peaceful home foundation class 1969, 1972

hungry, why wait! this is the place to be most definitely! i'd love for all of you to come meet me here. this is my review and i approve this message. wow, would you eat or drink anywhere else
Very beautiful campus with a view on Chicago. The buildings are impressive. Cutting-edge research. However, not all the offices look nice, which is a bit disappointing when considering the surroundings.
I got a degree from here, and I'm employed, so I guess it was pretty all right.
Great school, for adults and kids both! Got my MEM here and she's taking debate class. Gorgeous campus right on the lake.
Beautiful campus and location. School of business has amazing food
It's a delightful sight
Friendly service but I was not allowed to bring my cat inside campus buildings, even when leashed.
Great community
This summer sunshine, golden beach and surfing people gave me an illusion that Northwestern University has a campus towards the vast ocean. But in fact, it just next to the Michigan Lake. When I came here in the early morning, this beautiful campus was in tranquility and peace. Some people playing beach volleyball and sand statues, some surfing and sailing. Yes, it's just one plain day, but also one perfect day, perfect campus!
Good place for freshmen and also well maintained
Best doctors and nurces in chicago.
Beautiful campus especially in summer, great spirit, myriad opportunities and a wonderful town (Evanston) and nearby city (Chicago).
Yes, it's where I really wanted to go, other than Princeton, but never quite made it. I was too interested in getting out into the world and ended up in college in Colorado. Thank goodness, though, because I love the west.
Amazing school! Years after graduating I remember it fondly.
A great environment.
A good college
GREAT Quality
Cahn Auditorium is an excellent facility that features near professional-quality student productions.
Great Campus
Graduated from here MANY years ago, just back for a visit. Beautiful as ever, wonderful new buildings, especially the theaters
Good
This We're I Hope To Attend College . '20 .. ❗❗
Great campus, tons of money, enthusiastic students.
Great campus! Spacious and beautiful lake!
Love the lofty environment
Love this place ....
Great education, beautiful campus, extremely expensive. Kids are happy but the old man is suffering. I am glad that I don't have another kid to go there.
Northwestern is the Home of the Wildcats, and is a beautiful campus by the lakeside of Lake Michigan, just north of Chicago. I had a fantastic time studying here and the campus is incredible when autumn creeps in and paints everything in such resplendent colours (see pictures attached). Kellogg is also located here interestingly enough, away from the Chicago campuses of Feinberg etc., but all in all a great university.
Great place
Yes i've been here
Excellent location, strong academic reputation, entertaining sports teams (football and basketball).
Love it here!
Best speech pathology program offered in the United States. Campus is gorgeous!
Amazingly beautiful campus on Lake Michigan. Great mix of old and modern buildings. Good dining options. Lots of bike racks.
This 대학교 is very good
I am one quarter into my freshman year as a weinberg college of arts and sciences major. It is an academic institution and I feel prepared to be an academic in the future and enter the world of academia. That being said, I hate Insomnia Cookies. It is bad, overpriced, and only a select few students can afford it. It is outrageous, heinous, and (insert other negative adjective here COME BACK TO IT). It is a crime that it exists near such a prestigous institution. Please students, I implore you not to give money to this establishment (Insomnia Cookies). For every dollar you would spend on a four dollar cookie (that adds up to four dollars), find the nearest homeless person and give it to them. Be a good person. Nat Out Also NU ur chill, keep doing your thing
Had a good basketball camp for the kids in the summer.
One of my favorite campuses of all time. Beautiful nature, clean buildings, open (and quiet) library, and a cool "block museum". Good place to get work done in one of their many spaces.
Beautiful campus lots of opportunity
good atmosphere
University of Chicago Order life you Northwestern University
Best view here and very good University
Beautiful campus, especially for wedding.
Huge campus, well maintained and in a very good location.
Good university but the tour guides are soo mean
I came from near poverty when I arrived at Northwestern as an undergraduate. After recovering from culture shock, I succeeded beyond expectations, graduating with a publication in a major journal and going to complete my doctorate. Since graduation I have had great experiences and a successful career. Many thanks to my perceptive advisor, inspiring professors, and the Pullman Foundation. Also I love the beautiful campus!
Awesome and a Friendly university
The campus is open to anyone, with tons of activity and great beach spots. The bike path along the coast is always busy but has some new developments happening. The campus itself is clean and large, with tons of lounges and places to eat.
Love the university. Has great facilities and education of course. Other than that, the best part is the lake and the beach. It is also conveniently located near Evanston downtown with a lot of good restaurants and bars around. Chicago downtown is just a train ride away.
Awesome campus
Best decision I ever made was to attend Northwestern University.
Wonderful school with a gorgeous campus.
Overpriced and not enough parking. Came her to visit the grandson and took 1 hour to find parking.
It was a great experience academically and socially, and as a walk on in the baseball program. A beautiful campus nestled on Lake Michigan only 12 miles north of Chicago. The academic programs for undergraduates are second to none, and I chose Northwestern over Cornell , Michigan, Purdue,& Wisconsin
One of the world's prestigious colleges with the best scene in greater Chicago area!
This is the best school that I have ever attended.
It gives very valuable lessons to students.
I learned a lot
What a beautiful campus!
Extremely beautiful campus stuck right in the middle of a great area. Evanston has a ton to do outside of just seeing campus. Right on the water with great views from many buildings.
My brother and farther go to northwestern and the whole northwestern is great everything they have is great I can’t say anything that they do to other people in the campus that belongs in my heart
now open until 4AM
Northwestern had a great campus and a great tour experience. Defiantly a great place to go to college.
Absolutely beautiful campus.
Great campus, lots to do, lots to learn
Cool and smart college
They have a lot to offer and have many programs for many different things.
Beautiful campus. Lakefill area is lovely for a walk/run/bike ride.
Amazing school!
Very good college. Generally get high volumes of application for MS in comp science. Apply early even though the deadline is on 15th may for fall. Accepts the 3 year degree students too. but really hard to get in unless you have exceptional profile. In Chicago, one of best city to live in. People quite helpful. Very easy to fill forms online. Upload all documents and send original after admission (order GRE & TOEFL early though). Very cold weather. So keep it in mind. Jain/Hindu temple is quite far.
Great school. Students are very well rounded. Not just smart, but also interesting and of high character. Able to get a broad spectrum of perspectives because of the cuturally and demographically diverse class of students . Professors are knowledgeable and it was out of pocket dollars well spent for engineering graduate studies. President Obama spoke here as well!
I love this university I really want to go there when I grow up
Great university, and great place.
Great College
Sorting out my profile and getting ready to apply.
Please. Please. College. Crickten culp
I am mid-way through the first year of my Masters in Information Technology at the McCormick College of Engineering. The courses here are as rewarding as they are challenging. The administration are polite and very helpful, and the campus is gorgeous. In addition, the Alumni network is huge, geographically dispersed and extremely engaged. Overall Northwestern has provided me with an amaziny experience. As a Chicago native Northwestern has always been my dream school, now I know why.
Cheating scandal doesn't bode well.
Great
Extremely well a lot to learned futbol and ⛹basketball the
This was an unforgettable experience! The graduation of my son at 2009... NU, You will stay forever in our hearts!
Best two years of my life, will always be grateful to Northwestern.
I wish if I be a student in Northwestern.....
Wonderful school wherever you are coming from this school will be a home for you
Great school loving atmosphere!!
Awesome campus did a college tour of the place and definitely considered it one of my top choices for undergraduate
There is zero excuse for an alleged university to put profits before the pain and suffering of millions. Northwestern University holds a patent on Lyrica (pregabalin), a drug which makes the difference for millions between being able to work and have a normal life, or live in a nightmare of extreme pain. Not only has Northwestern University successfully blocked any research, development, or testing of generic alternatives, they also managed to get their 2004 patent, due to expire October 2013, extended by another 5 years. The average cost per patient for Lyrica is $330 per month. Northwestern University, which receives taxpayer funding for their drug research in the hundreds of millions annually, not to mention $1.3 billion annually in tuition and "gifts" from allumni, earns over $800 million annually off their 58 patents, nearly all of it from Lyrica. Another $1 billion annually goes to Pfizer, which provides the marketing and distribution. Interestingly, the profits from Lyrica do not appear on any public budget for the university. I don't care how great the education is at this university, when they put profits over the pain and suffering of others. I was patient with the original patent expiration of October 2013, despite the hardship over the last two years, that gave Northwestern a record $7.2 billion in profits since 2004. Blocking even R&D into generic alternatives for another 5 years ($4 billion more in profits) is obscene. Either allow the patent to expire on the original schedule, October 2013, or I will contact my elected officials (one of whom is Paul Ryan, you know, the one who loves to find ways to slash the federal budget no matter how many are hurt by it), and demand an end to all taxpayer funding (research grants, Pell grants, student loans, etc). Northwestern is already wealthy enough off their patents and four for-profit businesses to offer every single student a completely free and all-inclusive education and still turn a very healthy profit. All I want to do is get back to work, but greed such as seen with Northwestern University is interfering with that.
Big 10 school on Lake Michigan. It's a great academic institution and a beautiful campus, especially in the summertime. The school speaks for itself. It's hard to knock Northwestern!
Prestigious , fancy , elite , knowledgeable , the list goes on for Northwestern. Students love being here and they get an all star education.
A beautiful campus in a good part of the greater Chicago area!
Large, beautiful campus, it's just too bad they aren't required to pay any property taxes, because Evanston could use the money. I understand that universities provide a public good, but it's not like all Evanston residents are automatically accepted for matriculation.
Just attended a Marketing course at Kellogg. The experience was priceless. I will be back again.
Best U for Scientific research
Beautiful place for pleasure time outside.
Incredible campus right on the lake with that characteristic Chicago myriad architectural styles.
Beautiful campus (but probably not worth the trouble to visit from Chicago).
Undoubtedly the best university I have ever worked for. Amazing athletic program that supports student scholars. Plus, I was incredibly blessed to complete a number of continuing education courses in human resources which were taught by world class faculty.
Architecture Delight Friendly staff Receptionist very helpful.
registering for IE classes is an absolute nightmare, tour guides lie saying "I go to Chicago all the time!", friends who transferred have no regrets
Legendary
Stay away from graduate housing if you value your time and sanity. My partner was shunted between interim housing after her apartment's previous inhabitants hadn't moved out yet (???), facing mistake after mistake on the part of Reslife and Facilities. She faced comical incompetence and person after person who refused to take ownership- super stressful. Unless you want to pick up and move an extra three times, avoid grad housing at all costs.
YESSSS!
Some places have an aura about them. By reputation or mythology. This is one of them. Thought about coming here for years. Every time I drove by, saw Alice Millar Chapel. Came here for grad studies. Interdisciplinary program. Loved the classes. It was intense. Enjoyed research. Hours spent in the library. Advanced learning. Refining ideas and conceptualization. Walks & discussions with friends. Their passions, ideas. The beauty of the campus and the trees. The lakefront. Dealing with the cold, walking from the parking lot, which was always crowded. Spent two years. Got what I needed: credentials, competencies, skills and a degree from my dream, Northwestern University. Also learned about Academia. At an exorbitant price. Inter and intra departmental administrative bias and politics. Its Kafkaesque impact on program studies, implementation & planned education. The true meaning of a Ph.D: myth vs. reality. Its not scholarship. The actual toll of pursuit. Identity politics in its pure form. A post-modern glass bead game, partisan rules on a shifting ever left political landscape. I have always treasured my time here, what I learned, and the friends I made. It changed my life.
Although tuition is high, as you'll find at any prominent, private university, I found it a great school and a collaborative intellectual community.
Great campus, if not the best!
