My niece attends this school and her teacher a 3rd grade teacher by the name of ms.smith who has had it out for my niece since day one. This is a very intelligent, vibrant,loving child who is constantly being picked on. She excelles in certain aspects pertaining to her education but she also lacks like any other 3rd grader will. The allegations have became to much and the principals are doing nothing. My niece comes home at least everyday with a different story that this teacher is doing.. We as a caring family wants nothing but the best for my niece her education is important considering she is coming from a family who all graduated high school and college they seriously need to do something with her.

So my middle school daughters school called for the past three weeks reminding me of orientation on August 4, Today August 2 2016 i called Riverdale Elementary School at 10:00am spoke to a Mrs Smith a 3rd grade teacher her tone as below cheerful when she answered but i disregarded and asked when would we be notified for orientation she said the day before orientation we would get a call i said isn't that a inconvenience she said nope not for me i said well how about the parents and their work she said what can i do about that so rudely too. So then i ask Mrs Smith why are you all so non caring and rude and deal with children she does a little laugh and asks what else can i help you with i said yes let me speak to the Principal she hangs up n me i call back she says no one is there to speak to me but her Finally speak with the vice Principal who handles the issue and gave me some information that was needed and advised me that the teacher was a good teacher which in fact maybe true but your first impression is a lasting one and dealing with children and children in the 3rd grade her attitude concerns me. Looking to have a good year but Teachers please remember youre teachers not babysitters etc no one is forcing you to teach. Lets have a good year

The lunch ladies are really mean the have the cafeteria like a boot camp they have 3 monitor s that are in your class and if one person talks they are sent to sleint lunch table for 1-2 weeks .plus the teachers talk about you whille your at lunch and whille classes are up.

Not a good school at all. The school nurse is rude, I’m not sure how they have her working with children. The office staff is rude and never have a welcoming attitude when you enter. The teachers are ok. I will be moving from this area so that my child does not have to attend this school next year.
