Very diverse school setting I loved that, and concerned, and caring staff! Just think they were to strict, or petty about some things

This is what I read about this place on Facebook, exact words "Y'all should check Lake City Elementary in Clayton!! So many kids have been treated badly by teachers including my sister!! She got a UTI for not being allowed to go use the restroom & we had to take her to the hospital because it was moving up her kidneys. & the principal and another staff member(that was soon fired by the principle, just like 99% of the other staff members) dragged her into a small office and screamed at her & demanded her to stop lying about having an UTI..!! My sister was 6 at the time, why would she lie about such thing & we had proof of it?! Another time my dad was walking my sister to her class & he saw how a teacher dragged a little boy outside the classroom & started screaming in his face, & he'd try to cover his face & she'd pull his hands away until the little boy saw my dad standing there & the teacher turned & saw him standing there. Then she gently patted his shoulder & acted like nothing had happened! So much more has happened but everyone is scared of the principal & don't do anything. She was already fired from another school from Florida, I wonder why?!?!"

It's elementary school nice friendly staff..just got to be patient during school drop off/pickup.

The staff for the most part are pretty great. Any issues I have had they have resolved them asap. The principle is super nice and all the kids love her. The only problem I have is in the morning some parents are rushing and almost run over children.
