I am currently a student here. This school is hard, but one of the coolest places to learn and grow. I love the people, and the teachers are extremely helpful. There is a lot of work involved and you must manage your time well, but it is a school that is worth the amount of work you must put into it.

I am currently a very satisfied student here and I love it exceptionally. Everyone here is very kind and generous. Staff are very helpful and are there when you need them. Highly don't recommend this school to students who don't have a desire for long hours of homework or school. But at the end of the day, you will greatly appreciate your time here!

I wanted to come to this school this year and I was accepted but I’m not going bc from what I can tell, all you do is study and learn. There is zero activities besides studying at that school. No sports, marching bands, or any competition besides STEM stuff or anything academic related. I would recommend at least adding sport program. School isn’t just about getting A’s, it’s also about learning how to mix with other people and learning who you are. Not everyone who grows up will be successful just because they got A’s in school. Also when everyone grows up, life won’t just be about more studying for money. If you have no social skills or don’t do something fun, like sports or a hobby, then having all that money really won’t help. No social skills mean no friends and can’t talk to people, which mean you’ll be alone. Alone and no one to talk to equals no life and depression after a while and basically your life will have no meaning.

Amazing school, I love it! The teachers are very caring here and they do care about your education. The students here in general are a lot kinder than a regular high school. The GSMST environment is very different, but it's unique and safe. The workload here is manageable if you do the work necessary (and extra). If school is not a top priority, then GSMST is not the place to be. GSMST is very challenging, but it's worth it. However, don't attend if you are really unsure about the school- it's probably not the place to be.
