Came back to my first school I attended in the US, was surprised not much has changed, it's been 15 years already! Was a safety patrol during my final year at school. Still remember the field trip to D.C. after my graduation, super awesome! Sometimes I wish I could start over again!

This school is a racist institution. African Americans are not treated like the other minorities here. My son came to the school in the fourth grade. He came to them having scored almost a 4 and 5 on the FSA. From week 2, I contacted his teachers asking them about the work that was being assigned. His language arts teacher( Mrs. A) kept insisting I medicate my son, because here's not working to his full potential. They would rather the black parents stay uninvolved with your child's education. This school scored high on the standardized test but they can care less if the blacks help them achieve those scores or not. I suggest if you are a black patent that you see what your child is truly capable of and push them to their limits, because your child may be capable of doing more but this school won't let you know that. I REMOVED my son from this school 7 weeks in, midweek. He was glad for the change as well because I made him aware of what was happening. BLACK CHILDREN ARE SMART TOO.
