My 9th grader started this school year at Krop . Apart from a few amazing teachers the school is terrible . The principle is so rude and disrespectful to parents and students both . We had an issue with our daughter and brought it to the principle attention . She was so offensive and aggressive with us that I was completely shocked that she is even in charge . Both my H and I are educators with many years of experience . I will definitely have to go higher and report her behavior . As for the school it’s becoming worse and worse . Drugs , sex and violent. It takes them 20 minutes to get security in an emergency . We made a decision to pull out child out this week . Anywhere else would be better .

I love this school! One time, the teachers taught us a lesson by making us dance for money. All of the websites are unblocked on the computers so we can go on any site we want. IT's the only time I actually stay after school. They let us wrestle in water with no shirts. I get to have fun and take a shower. Finally, all of the students (including the boys) wear these small and sexy skirts that turn me on every time I see them. I love this school!!!

Overall this school is meh. If you want a run of a mill school this is the one. Weed circulation is at an all time high but the teachers and staff are nice for what it's worth. We have a great orchestra, good MAGNET programs and an ok athletic division. I definitely regret going here but then again I could've been at NMB so I'm grateful. For parents if your child is determined in what they pursue they'll definitely stand out here. These were the 4 most ok years of my life.

@ Andrea Kohn, hang on for a little while. The funny thing is that time passes fast. I was once a student at Krop, though i graduated many years ago. But, it seemed to be getting worst and worst because of the people. It's a good and bad experience, it is what you make it. Just, remember not to follow those potheads, hot heads, and those who are doing bad things.

I entered Krop as a junior and it has honestly been the worst experience ever. I don't think I ever hated a school as much as this one. The teachers and counselors really don't care about you, they are just here for one thing, to do their jobs and get paid. Every single day as I walk down the hallway of hell, all I wanna do is go home. Krop makes me wanna drop out of school. The students aren't friendly here and I can't even make 1 friend because they are either "too good" for me or just so rude. Do not send your kids here unless you want them to be depressed. School shouldn't make you feel like your forced to be here, you should enjoy going to class and Krop doesn't do that. I hope next year I can transfer to another school because there is no way I am spending my senior year feeling like I am in jail which is how I always feel like at Krop.

My daughter was in Math class and she plugged her phone to charge so she can call me later on, while charging and waiting for lunch during the class period someone from her class stole her phone, she told her sub and all he did was call security and security only checked the two people (closest to her phone) bags and not the whole classroom, my daughter than went to report to the school police who also did nothing told my daughter it was her fault to be bringing a phone to school in the first place if you really want your children to be treated like this in that society than go on ahead

I've been going to krop since my Freshman year and compared to other schools its a wide diverse population of students. The hallways are crowded and the bathrooms can't stay clean but other than that krop is awesome

As a graduate and having friends in Miami from other schools I can say Krop really gets you prepared for college, amazing professors and staff members. Challenge yourself in their honors AP and dual enrollment options. Lots of clubs and sport to choose from!

This school is awful. Most of the teachers were rude and did not care about any of their students. The staff is not to good either. Most of the students are involved in drugs and drama. While I was attending this school, a few students came up to me asking if I would like to buy some weed.

this school is horrible, No staff, teachers care about anything, they are first strict when school starts then stop caring in the middle of semester, Teachers are soo rude, everyone trys to leave this school and go to ATM, The whole I.D system is trash, if you dont bring an I.D they make u get another one and they charge $5 per I.D and where does that money go? oh yeah the princable that drives a $90,000 Corvette stringray. Theres fights everyday. And over 4k students in a crowed school i do not reccomend any student going to this school. im going into my savings and paying for my senior year. and transfering to U school. Hello my name is Isaiah Pierre I'm going to be a freshman this year at Michael krop senior highschool. I was asked by both of my parents which highschool I feel comfortable attending. I chose Michael krop because many fellow students of mine/Teachers had said it was a phenomenal school .Do to those reponse and reasons I had made up my mine to register at Michael krop Senior high school. I have to say I haven't stepped on the schools premises and felt disrespected not by a student but a staff from in adult. I did some digging so I went on the schools website to figure out what are the requirements for registration at Michael krop senior highschool .A section of the website had asked for incoming nineth graders to have academic history From the previous school and what not . Sense I did not fully comprehend what was said I call the staff from my cellular device ,and had spoken to a Jamaican women from the main office.But I did not have a chance to catch her name moving right along she was being overly verbose , rude, and very preposterous .As a staff you should not be yelling at both the students or the parents as a staff expecially in the main office. Where you meet people everyday parents or students should not have the problem of having to deal with disrespect.Staffs should be giving advice guidance and help not disrespect.This is starting to make me reconsider which highschool I want to attend.

I have a big issue with this school! The teachers are bullies and very disrespectful. My mother is always having to go there because my sister gets bullied and when she defends herself she always looks like the bad one. The chorus teacher only cares about the seniors. Tells other students that there not as good or qualified as the seniors are. He belittles students, but yet my sister had to audition to even be in this school (obviously she is good because she got in). The teacher does whatever the seniors want. These seniors have and continue to plot on my sister so she can be kicked out all because she defends herself. Seniors basically run the chorus ! what the hell is this? what kind of school allows this?? The teachers instead of giving you a bad grade in conduct when a student is either misbehaving or the teacher feels that they are talking back they attack them with a bad academics grade which has nothing to do with conduct.. This school isn't as good as people think. I at first was happy for her to be there because of the Reputation they have but after 2 yrs I realize there just as bad. I cant wait till she leaves this school!!

(Translated by Google) This school discriminates against Latino people. They say they are going to make the visit and ask for my work schedule and they go when I'm not there. They say they have gone a number of times and it is a lie. The attention is the worst, they do not give alternatives. In the middle of the year 2017 they had me waiting 3 months for the visit and they never went to my house. And now I have been waiting for the visit since January 15 and today they tell me that they have gone 6 times (that's a big lie) and that they do not give my son a place. (Original) Esta escuela discrimina a la gente latina. Dicen que van a hacer la visita y piden el horario de trabajo mio y van cuando no estoy. Dicen que han ido un número de veces y es mentira. La atención es de lo peor, no dan alternativas. A mitad del año 2017 me tuvieron esperando 3 meses para la visita y nunca fueron a mi casa. Y ahora llevo desde el 15 de enero esperando la visita y hoy me dicen que han ido 6 veces (eso es una gran mentira) y que no le dan el cupo a mi hijo.

Where to start. This school is down right the worst place to put your child. From the main office, the lady there is extremely rude and disrespectful to both students and parents. LOVE THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH!!! Ive been at this school since my freshman year and im a couple weeks away from entering my senior year CLASS OF 2016!!! The teachers and administration are amazing! The only thing i would complain about is the bathrooms but come on now we have them all over the school, if one is full just go to the next one, but make sure you ARE NOT late to class ESPECIALLY on hall sweep days. (thats a warning to any new students) (freshman beware pep rallies dont take the booing seriously, we were all there at one point :* ) This is such a amazing, supportive, diverse school cant wait till August 24th !?!?!?!
