Awesome school. Delaware seems to be the exception where the public schools out do the private schools in all categories. We made the switch from Holy Cross to WB Simpson Elementary and never looked back. The kids love their teachers and for good reason. The educators here are detailed and involved with the students. The programs are challenging and facilities are very impressive.

I was there for 5 years the teachers are amazing but in 6th grade u find out they did not tech u what they needed to especially in science and social studies.

My granddaughter came home with a paper entitled "3 Reasons Christopher Columbus Should NEVER Be Celebrated". The paper then reported all the negativity surrounding his exploration of the New World - slavery, wars, etc. Whether true or not, is it really necessary to turn 4th graders against the traditions of this country before they are of age to comprehend and analyze the facts? Then, they only present the negative side of the story. None of the good that came of this exploration is presented - only negativity. I call this liberal indoctrination of the young. Present the positive and the negative, if you must report anything, objectively (if possible from a liberal educational system). Better yet, wait until these children enter high school and can judge the facts from both sides on their own merits.
