Honestly a pretty great school. There are some classes in which the teachers pick favorites; but overall a very good school. Go Eagles!

I did 12th grade here. I'm 26 now. I hated this school. I had just done 9th through 11th grade at William Pennitentary (lol) before coming to this school and Smyrna was soooo wack compared to Penn. It was just too hick for me. I didn't feel like I fit in because I was way to new castle, namtalkbout. But the lunches were way better than any school I had ever gone too previously. Lunch at Smyrna was way better than William Penn, Gunning Bedford, Southern Elementary, McCullough Elementary, and May B Leasure Elementary. But I had a car already so I would usually skip out for lunch everyday anyway. Other students that wanted to eat fast food would give me gas money and some change to take them to taco bell or McDonalds or Wendy's or whereever. But still, if skipping lunch to go get fast-food was the best part of the day, then you can tell this school was wack. Like I said just way too hick too country, not what I was use too. Smyrna as a whole was just the worst place I ever lived in while I lived in Delaware. The town is just like the school. You already know that I was blowing 2 joints before school everyday just too deal with the agony of what was Smyrna High

It is a shame to see people not tell the truth about an awesome hometown school. Eagle pride runs deep. My children are both in Smyrna schools, one specifically at the high school. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the school. I feel my children are very safe there. From the district office to the high school administration, this school is well run.
