Williams Stadium has been the premiere high school football stadium in Des Moines for decades. At approximately 10,000 seats, it is one of the largest high school stadiums in the state. The stadium is well constructed, has a decent sound system, and a nice scoreboard. The press box could have been much bigger than the one now in place. The food is great. Grilled burgers, hot dogs, and brats are a good place to start. Renovations need to continue. The bleachers and fences need a complete overhaul with colored bleachers or something else to give it some pzazz.
