Graduated in the late 90's after spending 6 years there. Loved every minute. Thankful for the education and relationships made there. To the woman who is a 7th Day Adventist: I graduated with one and he is awesome and still one today. If you send your child to a protestant school where almost everyone worships on Sunday he will get asked some questions about why he worships on Saturday. Sorry it wasn't all you hoped for.

This is a wonderful learning community, the teachers are all so committed to seeing each kid thrive in their individuality as a child of God. The wooded campus is so picturesque. My wife grew up going to TMS and now we're sending our kids to the school. Great heritage and community.

This is our first year at the Master's School and we are so blessed to be at this wonderful school. I have a child in the upper school and one in the lower school, and both of my kids are having the same wonderful experiences . . . teachers that genuinely care about them, challenging, interesting academics that are so much more than just textbooks, chapel days where they are free to pray and worship, and an excellent athletic program where they are led by Godly coaches who care about more than just winning the game. We couldn't have chosen a better school for our kids.

Our journey with The Master's School began a three years ago when we enrolled our middle child in the preschool program. We were completely blown away at the curriculum and materials he was learning, the creative and engaging way the concepts were presented, and how well he was known. His teachers were masterful and had such a depth to their understanding of not only child development, but also who he is, how he learns, where he could be stretched and where the thrives. It was beyond anything we could have ever imagined or hoped for for our child. After what we experienced that year, we enrolled all three of our children the following year and have found that same experience across the board. TMS is so much more than just a school and has made a tremendous impact on our family. We're grateful for The Master's School and the way they've partnered with us in educating and shaping our children for today and tomorrow.

I attended The Master's School from 3rd grade through 12th grade and had an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was challenged academically and well prepared for college. I had many opportunities I would not have had in a larger school, getting to try my hand at sports, drama, yearbook, and community service. Most significantly, the teachers at the school invested in me personally, mentoring me spiritually as well as academically and athletically. After having lived elsewhere, including overseas, for many years, our family has come back to CT and we were excited to enroll all three of our daughters at the school this fall. Each one of them is thriving there, enjoying learning and being helped and challenged by their teachers.

I graduated from The Master's School and was blessed by the love and care of my teachers as well as their academic support and guidance. The Master's School is dedicated to academic and spiritual growth. It is a unique place where students are loved and prayed for no matter what.

Throwaway Truth

Went here for senior year of high school. Singled out by staff members, especially the higher ups (headmaster, etc) for no reason i can infer other than because i do not practice catholicism. I was friends with people on sports teams and they told me that the staff had told them not to hangout with me because I am a bad influence. This school is essentially a den for brainwashing kids as early as preschool. I don’t have anything against any religion, but the morals of this school have to be questioned.

Evreyone is always encouraged and my grandkids love it there

You get singled out and bashed. I have nothing against their morals here at the school. But if they hate you as a student they hate you, and if they like you they like you. It’s based on favorites.

I would not recommend this school to any parent who wants there child pushed academically. The education is so simple and teachers do not take it seriously enough. I thought it would be a place where my son would grow closer to God but if anything, he is growing father away. I am a Seventh- Day- Adventist believer and my son never has never questioned our day of Sabbath (though others might). After just 2 months of attending The Masters School my son refused to worship God on Saturday because he now believed Sunday is the correct day of worship. Neither am I justifying or declining this answer as the correct term Sabbath, but my beliefs will not be tested because of the closed minded people of the world. I have since then pulled my son from the Master School an have enrolled him in Renbrook. Though Christian education is not provided there. I know that my sun is being pushed academically. I also have a daughter attending Kingswood Oxford and have absolutely no concerns. Take my advice and do not waste your time, money, and effort. May God bless you.
