A small co-ed school with a lot of heart!
The campus is expansive, the teachers are outstanding, and they program your child for success. This is not a school for your child if they have behavior or emotional issues, look to the Foreman School if that is the case. This is you basic prep boarding school that, due to small class size, allows those that would fall between the cracks in a larger environment- to focus on the subject matter and grasp the material.
A very family type setting, the staff are your child's family away from home. Like most boarding schools, there is no tolerance for poor behavior. You can get extra academic help in a program called, "Strategies" but beware, the tuition and extra program have very high price tags although well worth the cost.
Students are very happy here and the campus is expanding and improving every year to meet the demands of new applicants.
The dorm common areas could use some sprucing up but the student rooms themselves are an ample size, bright with nice big picture window views.
You'd be hard pressed to find a more involved faculty and creative electives. The athletics and state of the art new gym are terrific and, if sports aren't your thing, a wonderful music and theatre department.
I can't imagine where students would feel more comfortable and learn in this tight environment in a better boarding school. Unless your child is Exeter or Choate material, this place has it all.
