Reviews of Pomperaug High School (School)

Pomperaug has a very strong and succesful swim team, yet, most of the athletics budget is spent on maintaining the football field, even though they suffer defeat after defeat. The school is also infested with drugs and is know as the "pharmacy" by both students and members of the surrounding community. Academics are mediocre and cannot compare with the academics of high schools such as Amity and Staples of Woodbridge and Westport, respectively. lel

When I went, to keep a long story short, horrible, and now I hear from younger people it's turned more into a prison then a school. Advise sending your kiddos to another school. That and I hear much of the few good teachers they did have, left. Actually, I don't think I've heard a single good thing about it in years. Should tell you something. Any young ones reading this, drop out and go to foothills adult ed. They where great with me, streamlined my HSD instead of 4 years of torture, not a GED, but they give a actual HSD. Can't believe i suffered 2 years there.. =/ Goodluck kiddos! Nice auditorium. Did a summer play here and there was decent acoustics and good lighting options.
