In my humble opinion as a Cheyenne graduate, THE BEST COLLEGE PREP HIGH SCHOOL IN THE STATE!!! Rich with school history, excellent teachers, outstanding athletics... I could go on and on! Their math curriculum is a vigorous program designed to retain information, and with a homework load long enough to make the college transition a breeze. Every teacher knows his subject in depth, with useful hours catered to the student. As an art student, I absolutely adored their arts department. The entire school supported our efforts, and every teacher was a master in her field. The school itself is award-winning and highly sought after, meaning colleges recognize a student from Cheyenne Mountain will be hardworking and intelligent. If your child is looking to attend college, Cheyenne Mountain is the place to be!

I highly recommend this school if you or your child is looking for a great education. however, if you would like your child fully humanized with a pure high school experience, this is not the school for your child. This school is beyond rigorous, which means that your child will have one thing on their mind; education. They will always be stressed out and feel as though they are not good enough. I learned very much at this school, but what would've been considered excellent at any other school, was considered normal, at most. Even the most open- minded people at this school would be considered close- minded elsewhere due to their under- exposure to other cultures and tight nit community. If your child is a complete over- achiever, i highly recommend this school because it really does prepare one for ivy league schools, if your child is above average but not completely, over-the-top excellent, i would recommend any other school that ensures your child's well- being and security.

A fine school with great core academics but my peers and I’s numerous complaints about the schools drama teacher went unheard by the administration. As a drama student for 3 years I began to resent something I once loved thanks to said staff member’s lack of instruction in the art of theatre for they rather ram their own political agenda down the gullets of students and punish those who don’t agree.

Yeah so basically there isn't any warm towels :/ the room service was sub par at best and the do not disturb sign comes off the door easier than expected. Overall would not recommend to frands.
