To be honest, this is an amazing school. The teachers/ staff are kind and outgoing, and there is a lot of fun activities to participate in. You'll love it here. The issue about homework isn't bad if you are willing to do it.

Oxford is a great school to be in. The community is so supportive and ready to help you with whatever you need. The teachers are kind, and some of them are really funny (especially Mr. Morris). Drugs and bullying are almost nonexistent in this school. Would definitely recommend.

I love Oxford! I'm currently an eighth grader and I love it here. The staff (for the most part) are really nice and want you to succeed genuinely and the students are super helpful and kind. It gets stressful at times but it's overall a great school with many opportunities!

Coaster Aspect

The teachers are awful at this dump and the kids over there make fun of me a lot. Plus they give me a heap of frickin homework so I cannot do anything else. I frickin hate this school

This school is the second best school is Orange County (1st-Whitney). This school brings everything but problems. There are a few problems, but are fixed immediately. This school "calls in all the nerds". This is the only school where other students accept you as a nerd.

Harder than a normal high school, but hey you won't get into any fights at this school. Bullying is much less, and the kids are nicer than other high schools. Also no drugs at this school, or else you'll get expelled. You can get expelled for drugs, bullying, fighting, or being mean and harassing at this school.

The teachers are great and encourage you to succeed. The environment is friendly yet competitive and puts you in the perfect mindset to learn. Overall, this is the best Junior High/High School you can send your child to and I would highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a regular middle or high school, this school is not for you. The people here are think they are the best and show off their straight A's which is really annoying and think its funny. Its really hard to find a friend that is not fake. The homework is ridiculously large and you don't get time to spend with your family. There is way too much stress and from my experience, Oxford is the worst school go to.

Probably one of the best HS school environment that you can find if you can stand the workload and pressure. Demand is twice as much as regular school so it is not for every kids. However, if your kid likes it, here is what in store for them. Your kids are surrounded by brightest and motivated minds with supportive attitudes. You don't have to worry about bad vices although there is very little oversight. Impact is not limited to HS or college span, it is for life. Oxford Academy graduates get their 6 year foundational training here, doesn't matter where they go or what they do. OA has one of the most active and supportive parent communities. Teachers and Staff are awesome for the most part. It is a privilege for everyone to be part of this great community so most people contributes their best. Every school has some problem but the administrators' open minded policy continues to close the gaps. Thank you Oxford.

My son was there, then it was not so easy for him to adjust his mind and attitude during 7th and 8th grade. However, after all he enjoyed his school life with Good Fellows and was learned a lot from this Oxford Academy.
