Jane Sorry

I go to this high school and OMG this kids are so stupid...My teacher asked my class about signing up for HP class and I was the only girl who raised my hand. Students are mostly self-centered and the administrations are not caring enough for them. This students have really bad attitude and rarely shows their willingness to learn or excel.

This school is pretty great and i love it here. Most of the teachers are nice but others, well, not so great, but all schools have their ups and downs!

Dusty tennis courts.. cracks all over. How are they so indifferent about their facility?

Both of my children attended this school and this school is not for minority students of color. They tend to focus only on their Caucasian students. If you are a minority looking to get into sports it is also a waste of time. They tell you about try outs but pick the same players. My son attended for two years and each year was denied only to have the same team members. I would suggest if you are looking into this school that you look elsewhere. They lack help for struggling students and send student to another alternative school when they are struggling due to lack of help. If you are a student of minority don't ever have a disagreement with another student because la Palma police is called as if you inflicted harm on someone. They have major issues they need to address and as a parent moving into this neighborhood so my children could have a fair shot was very disappointing.

It's fairly ok except if you look at some of their infrastructure and overall budget. Also the JROTC program no longer exists due to issues with the instructor which is a bummer. The JROTC here used to be superior under Breslow and Shaw (Top) but once Breslow retired from teaching, the program became a mess. The teachers are friendly and somewhat care about you. However, the school can improve along with the entire education system since it is watered down at the moment under Common Core.
