Always a moving experience each time I take a group of students on a fieldtrip here. The museum is great and our ranger was very knowledgeable and thorough. The school has not changed over the years but the gothic architecture and scale is impressive.

Mel Johnson

Truly a remarkably memorable experience that our family will remember forever. Need I say more?

I graduated from this school 1958, I enjoyed all three years, so very much, I so remember, I came .out of the office one morning, and one of the nine was looking for the girls restroom, I showed her where it was located, she ask me if I would wait for her, and I did so, then walked her back to her class, she thank me with a hug, and she went into the her class, and I went onto my class. I went to school half day, then worked half day, my junior year I took DO. The only problem was on the outside.

Very good park, the museum is fantastic and the building is beautiful. You have to go through the tour with a ranger and we did not have the time to do that but it was still very good.

I’m looking forward to visiting this place after I’ve read the book which called “Warriors don’t cry”

I definitely think this place is a must stop if you are in Little Rock. It is a big part of US History, big things happened here. I think it's very cool that the outside of the school as well as the rest was so well maintained and that there is a museum here. The structure of the school itself is massive when you actually walk up to it. You don't realize how many steps there are until you are looking up the stairs. It was a good experience to come by here.

Great opportunity to learn about an historical event and tour the grounds and school. The facilities and grounds are very well kept and the park ranger guide's presentation was informative. The story could probably have been told in less repetitive way and more information could have been included (maybe it's the ranger's attempt to dramatize the story), but the ranger was more than happy to answer questions.

Seeing this historic place in person, was one of the highlights of my summer vacation

SO MANY WELL-BEHAVED STUDENTS AT THIS SCHOOL!!!!! THIS SCHOOL IS EVEN WELL-BEHAVED THAN HALL HIGH & THANK GOD I CHOSE THIS SCHOOL BECAUSE THIS IS A PERFECT FIT FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josh Lyon

Important historic site, but also an incredible school. The LRSD does everything they can to maintain the school as it was in 1957 and still keep it as an updated high school for it's students. The new museum across the road is much nicer and more involved than the old museum as well

Just finished reading Warriors Don't Cry(the book about the Little Rock Nine). It is amazing to see how they fight for integration for Africans. It is like Gandhi!!!

Great experience, well designed, well maintained. A historical stop that you must take in Little Rock. And if you love Architecture the school is a must see, just a beautiful structure. They don't build schools like that any more .

We went as a group for our Family Reunion and the tour was outstanding. Our tour guide was as young man who was very well versed in the history of the school.

Great exhibits about the Little Rock Nine and all the conflict surrounding desegregation. Book a tour of the high school but note that it is an active high school- you can't stop in there even to use the restroom for safety reasons

The museum and information here was great, super interactive, and even my anti-museum teen brother was able to find something interesting to learn about. The park rangers were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, while inside my bicycle was stolen right off of my car rack by local kids! It was caught on security camera, but not with enough detail to identify them. Purely by luck and because of the amazing park ranger was my bike recovered a couple hours later, but the fact that it was stolen, even for a time, put a damper on my overall experience at this historic site. If not for that, this would have been a five star site.

It is actually the associated national park site diagonaly opposite this that provides context for the school that is the thing to spend time in. The video record from news reports, the interviews with the LR 9 as adults etc. make this very moving and still speaks to us on national issues.

Olivia Floyd

Gorgeous campus. Great history! We went on a weekend, so we didn't get a tour of the campus, but we hope to come back.

Robert Hattan

Chris Pontillo

An excellent interpretive center. If you go, be sure to watch all the videos, they are quite compelling. I would give it 5 stars, but it needs information on the aftermath of desegregation, at the very least, in Little Rock and the years after the "nine" made their courageous stand!

I’ve read multiple books and watched documentaries about Little Rock Central High School and thought I knew everything I needed to know about this national treasure until I visited here. The guided tour was very informative. The National Park Service Guide was very flexible with late comers. Some people joined us late when we were about to enter the school and they were still allowed in.

Aside from the historical significance of this place in the Civil Rights movement; the part of this historical site that caught my attention was this historic Mobil Service Station. The station was a gathering place for the media people where they could use the public pay phone to call their stories into their media outlets. However, as a former Marketing Representative of Mobil I was amazed at the attention to detail the renovators put into this magnificent station. It brought back many fond memories of this era in my life.

I was not intending to go on the tour at this site, but I was so glad that I did. Although I am certain that each park ranger is wonderful, I highly recommend that you take the tour with Brian if you can. He has this incredible ability to transport you back in time to the events that occurred at Central High School over fifty years ago.

My husband and I are proud graduates of Central! Two daughters graduated as tigers On of which became Student Body President and one sophomore tiger to Go! For us, there was no other school to consider! "Hail to the Old Gold!"

This was an awesome experience for my family. We visited the museum and then took pictures of the school. History!!! A must see. The Little Rock Nine endured a great deal of hate. I am glad My husband and I were able to show my son up close.
