Very good school, with a lot of dedicated teachers and staff. The worst thing about this school is the awful parents. Bossy, stuck up, and entitled.

Love this school. My son went to a couple of other TUSD schools previously (for kinder and 1st), then he started here in 2nd: very pleased to have settled into this gem for two years now and plan to stay a few more since son #2 is entering kinder in a month. I have found that although this school is a little large (it absorbed another elementary that had shut down), it somehow feels like a close-knit, small-school community. The school culture is very positive and supportive for young kids. There are many dedicated parent (and grandparent) volunteers, fully involved and inspired teachers and support staff, and a principle that is truly visible, active, involved, caring and excited for the success and happiness of each of her 500+ students.

The teachers are mean besides the counselor and principal, and it is dirty, food is nasty.

The teachers are wonderful but never had a good interaction with the principal. Moved my children mid-year because of the issues. Would not recommend this school because of it.

The teachers are wonderful. Most of the staff however with the exception of a few have horrible problem solving abilities. And the monitors are not shown how to care for special needs children.
