Dined here at the end of summer camp, fish and chips I ordered were a little too greasy for my liking, but delicious nonetheless fries and coleslaw served with the actual fish fillet were good, staff was nice and upon inspecting the men's bathroom with my eyes it was clean.
Amazing food prices ambience and service!
The bartenders here seem to be capable of handling any size crowds! We were here and orders drinks, appetizers and more drinks and nothing showed up to the table that wa asnt hot or cold! Love, love the bar staff!
Great food friendly staff
Great friendly staff good food
Great food and great prices. Excellent service.
Loved it. Great atmosphere with even better food and service. I had the turkey sandwich and it was delicious. We will definitely put this place on our list when we come back to Cheyenne.
Best home made food!
Delicious food, great service.
Chicken fried steak is the best on the menu
Pretty average restaurant. Nothing great or terrible to say about it. Safe choice.
I love it here, like I really do. There's even a awsoawe bar area with pool tables if that's your thing. The bar is sepesepa from the dinning area also
Nice restaurant. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich. Yummo
Great service and food!
Best Prime Rib I've had in a really long time.
The chicken fried steak is excellent!
Gotta get the prime rib sandwich. It's incredible.
Busy during dinner but worth the wait. Great food and service.
Always good food, home made. Mashed are real, fried chicken is wonderful. Specialize I Greek dressing and it's wonderful!!
Fresh beer , only local don't have a chance to try the food
First time to Cheyene. Recommend to go to the Albany. We sat at the bar area. Garett was our bartender. Terrible rude bartender!! He was pouring beer from a tap and asking us “what we wanted”? He said what do you want? As he was pouring beer! We seem to be a problem to him sitting at the bar area. What really bothered me was the comment he made to a female bartender in front of all of us “ don’t get your panties in a wad I got it! No interaction with customers! He seemed very annoyed to be there! Ordered prime rib dinner it was excellent !
Sadly was disappointed... Beer was good .. Food from grill had that "needs a cleaning flavor".... Rocky mountain oysters were ultra greasy.... Prime Rib was good but not the bread... Cocktail sauce real deal ...
Great food and excellent Service.
Great place in Cheyenne
Love the atmosphere and the prime rib sandwich. The food was hot when it came out. Also there was exceptional service presented by my waitress.
Usually there for lunch. Fantastic Greek salad and great burgers! If you go in the evening on weekends, try the prime rib.
This is the best tasting and most tender Prime beef I've ever had.
Ordered a few whiskeys sat at the bar then ordered a French dip sandwich great tasting roast beef but the sandwich has no onions or peppers taste is perfect tho. The drinks are great. Good shelf choice. Awesome staff. The price is bout perfect. Oh the horse radish is the real deal..!!!!
Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, the steak was absolutely delicious, so tender and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.
Had the Prime Rib, side salad, and baked potato. The Prime Rib was tender and cooked medium the way I like it. The dinner was very good.
The food and service was perfect.
Friendly but the food leaves a bit to be desired. Zucchini basket consisted of six pieces The salad for the burger looked as if it was on an all day salad bar. The burger itself tasted like a frozen patty.
Great home style cooking with quite the savory selection. I'm glad I went with the waitress's recommendation of the chicken fried steak, it was crispy on the outside while perfectly tender on the inside. I nearly ate more than I could handle, but that's ok, it tasted soooo good.
This restaurant has the be prime rib I've ever had. Service is excellent.
Great food, fair prices great experience!
The atmosphere is awesome, in an old historic building, has pool tables, very clean. The food is pretty good, I got the chicken fried steak which was a little chewy but I guess they're supposed to be that way. I got the soup option which today was wild mushroom and I could have drank a quart of it it was so good. My only two complaints are: 1.)the mashed potatoes tasted like the instant kind and 2.) the bartender obviously hated her job not only by her mannerisms but she also said so to a waitress. Overall a good experience, would definitely go back. Somewhat unrelated, they have a liquor store on the side of the building and the guy running it was one of the friendliest dudes I've ever met.
I've only been here once. The prime rib was absolutely delicious. Washed it down with some Crown and then had some cheesecake. It ain't cheap. But you gotta spoil yourself once in a while. If I lived near Cheyenne, I'd spoil myself a lot on that prime rib. I definitely recommend this place.
Had a good lunch today. Fair price good food Saw lots of friend was fun.
Only place in Cheyenne that serves chefs salad. Can't get the liver and onions when CFD is in town. Big bummer!!!
Good food and gluten free bread available. At old train station area. Very nice co.fort food. Casual
Good food fast service. Will definitely be back.
Very,very good! Enjoyed the meal!
Best Chicken Fried Steak in town and beyond!!! Tonight's seasonal pie was phenomenal! So peachy
The Roast is a winner. Its so delicious!
Love it. A good go to place.
Great service food wasn't very good this time
Always a great meal and friendly service. June was our server and she was excellent. Best Chicken Fried Steak in Cheyenne.
Great onion rings!! Service was good and food was tasty. Reccomend if you are on Cheyenne
Great dinner!! I hadn't been to the Albany in years (don't know why), and my husband and I decided to give it a try again on a Friday night. He got the prime rib and it was so so. I got the chicken fried steak and I kid you not it was the best I have ever had! Salad and soup was great, but the dessert was even better. Two thumbs up on the blueberry cobbler and peach pie!! Our waitress was really on top of everything and was really nice. Definitely coming back.
Burger was good, but a little over done. Burnt on one side. Took a little bit to get it and had a kid with us so didn't want to wait for another.
Food was good. Prime rib was good value
Best burger in town. Get the 1 pound double cheeseburger.
Great food
Wonderful food, service and reasonable prices...
Excellent meal! Server was very helpful and informative! Would highly recommend eating here if you are in the area!
Nice tender steak. The cooks do a good job! Nice service too.
Always great food and service.
Steak was good. No clam chowder. Music too loud for 630 pm
Enjoyable sandwich and great sweet potato fries for lunch! Excellent service.
Best kept restaurant secret in Cheyenne. I highly recommend it. Steak is always cooked perfectly and the service is prompt and friendly.
First time in Fifteen years I had bad service. Food was good as always
Dinner date! Food was delicious as always. Service was great.
A little busy but the food was wonderful and the prices aren't the worst. Good service. I love the styling of the building. They kept it very original and clean. Parking isn't the easiest to find but it's worth the walk to be amongst the historical buildings.
I liked the special for lunch I had. Cubed steak burrito. Great service too
Nice food and atmosphere. Very busy on the night I went.
Enjoyed the food and the great service in a interesting section of the city with lots to see.
Awesome atmosphere and the prime rib is amazing!! Great staff!!
Always great food and prompt service.
The food was amazing and was very peaceful. Enjoyed my lunch with my son.
Food was great. Waitress was fantastic.
We are here during Frontier Days so they are crazy busy and this might be part of it but..... service is fast and friendly but food is awful. Beef mushroom soup special was probably Campbell's and not a mushroom to be found. Trout was dry and flavorless, buttered corn was Del Monte thrown on the grill and they forgot the butter. My husband's prime rib was flavorful but overdone and a dinky baked potato side.
Amazing atmosphere and very family friendly. Food is good, but not great. However, the location, ambiance, and service make it our favorite place, especially when we just want a stress-free lunch on a Saturday afternoon.
Had pork chops. What really surprised me was the brown gravy on mashed potato. It was so unique and tasty that I could have a whole meal of potato with the brown gravy!
Historic restaurant with a good selection
Great place. I'm a huge fan of their Prime Rib Sandwich. It comes with horseradish and Dijou (?) dipping sauce, and is damned tasty. They've got a pool table and well-to-do clientele that's always friendly.
Great food and good portions. Love the old pics of Cheyenne.
Food is always good!!!
Their own custom color pages for kids and fresh home made tasting food. The parking is a bit difficult to find around the alley way but everything else is amazing!
Good food and reasonable prices. Great piece of Cheyenne history.
"Locals" restaurant established 75 years ago that serves straightforward, delicious food at reasonable prices. Tender and savory 12 ounce prime rib with au jus, veggies and a cup of soup for $21.99. Decent selection of beer and wine. Good desserts too. Good service. Worth a visit.
Our server Jenna was amazing!!
Traditional Cheyenne bar/resturant the locals enjoy. Good food and excellent service.
Good food and service. "Old School".
Great Bartender! Awesome drinks
Great food! Had the barbeque tofu. Friends had the patty melt.
Good food great service. Not fancy.
Well remodeled older building, good food at great prices, excellent beer selection (including local WY brewers), and comfortable atmosphere. They also have a couple pool tables and jukebox for your favorite playlist. Could be a real draw to the downtown area...
Had the prime rib, cooked medium. Very hearty portion and great flavor. Nice atmosphere. Place was absolutely packed, which slowed service a bit - but understandably so.
Served completely raw chicken fingers to my child.
Service so personalized that you think your part of the family. I highly recommend the Prime Rib sandwich.
Restaurant was noisy the bar was quieter. Food was good and our waiter was great
A nice lunch menu. The food is good as well as the service. I would recommend for a quick bite.
I love The Albany. The only draw back is when it is very busy it is very noisy and sometimes hard to hear in the rear section where the larger groups are usually seated. Next time our group is going to try setting in the bar area.
Staff is great
Quiet atmosphere at lunch...food was good...service too
While the exterior doesn't inspire thoughts of great food, that is what resides inside. It is very clean, the staff was nice and the food was top notch. They roast actual turkey breast for the sandwiches and it makes all the difference. I had the open face turkey sandwich which came with delicious mash potatoes and gravy. My wife had soup and salad. I think she commented at least three times on how good the soup was. I will definitely stop in as I pass through again.
The atmosphere was better than the food. The wait staff was better than the atmosphere. Creme brulee was good. Okay but wouldn't go back.
The Albany restaurant is by far the best place in Cheyenne for a great meal.
The prime rib is what we go for! Excellent every time!
Ate here on a Monday night, had our pick of tea keys, server was friendly and prompt, meals were a little overdone but still palatable, better to stick with steaks. Good overall experience so I would recommend.
Poor quality food, and a very dull menu. Everything about this place feels worn out and waiting to die.
Excellent service and food.
This historic restaurant was filled with locals when we arrived for a late lunch. Food was excellent and priced reasonably. Had budget left for creme brulee, then walked over to the depot museum.
The country fried steak with mashed potatoes hit the spot for me. A dish that is one of my personal go-tos for comfort food. Also a good location close to the community outdoor area where they have live entertainment on Friday nights.
This was our first time here. The service was great, friendly and attentive. I had the chicken fried steak, it was so tender I could easily cut it with a fork! I look forward to coming back and trying a burger!
Rustic restaurant serves no lots of great conform food. The prime beef sandwich was not quite warm enough. The country fried steak was solid but if it wasn’t for the gravy it would have been a little bland. The southwestern soup was awesome!! They kid burger and chicken tenders were pretty standard.
Best homemade chicken fried steak! Great food !
Always good food, decent atmosphere great service.
Fresh and Delicious, homemade food. I had the chicken fried steak, absolutely delicious. The wife had the hot turkey sandwich, it was delicious. One of my kids is a picky eater, they accommodated. We got an order of cheese sticks and added 3 fried shrimp to it. Thanks for a great time and some great home cooked food.
Our waitress was great and attentive. The food was average and the atmosphere was nice. Very reasonably priced.
Great place! Nice old building, friendly staff and good food! You don't need some fancy write up - this place is a solid choice!
Four of us traveling on vacation and ended up walking into the Albany 15 minute before their closing after lunch. Fully expected to have bad food and service, but was absolutely astounded by both. All four of us had different selections and could not be happier with both the food and service. Suggested to the owner that he should include a warning label with the Cobb salad because of its size. Cannot say enough good things about the food and service. Bread pudding was beyond wonderful
This restaurant has the best staff! Super polite and knowledgable about the area. Great food too.
Very good food. Historical resteraunt. Friendly staff
Great place for a late night snack!!
Good food good service large group and got us seated fairly quickly.
Historic atmosphere. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and short wait for food
First time going and food was good
I had the Tuesday Special tonight (May 7) - Liver and Onions. Wow, the liver was so good and so tender. It cut like soft butter. And, great soup, beef noodle. Awesome Great food tonight and great service. Thank you Albany-excellent.
I love to stop at this place for a little bit of downtime have a beer a bite to eat and play some pool. It's a very nice clean atmosphere in an old historic building which makes for a great atmosphere all around. The staff are so very friendly and welcoming and on top of their job! I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to just stop and have a beer or a quick bite to eat however from 3 to 5 p.m. They are closed kitchen.
Great homemade food- the burgers were perfect and the potato soup was to die for...plus the beer was cheap.
Friendly people. Great atmosphere. The sweet potato fries are awesome. The chicken-fried steak is only served at dinner.......boo.
Very generous portion of prime rib on the "sandwich". The food was tasty and the server was very friendly. I will be going back.
Great down to earth chow and drink.
Prime rib was amazing!
Great food...great service.
The food was all right. Nothing special. The service was very nice everyone was very friendly which made the visit more pleasant.
I have always liked this place!! The food is great and the staff are friendly. It is my go to place for steak or Prime Rib.
Came in for dinner after coming up to WY from Fort Collins to see family. We were so happy we came into the Albany! The burger was amazing, the hot turkey (and the GRAVY) was fantastic and the ruben was authentic and tasty! We got the last piece of key lime pie too! Will for sure come back the next time we are up in Cheyenne!
I loved this place it was very western in decor and for Wyoming that is pretty typical. The food was a good quality freshness and the overall dining experience was fantastic. Highly reccomended
Very nice lunch menu (we ate lunch), good service, calm and quiet environment. Will be back.
The Albany is nice place to have a conversation without a lot of background noise. It has a couple pool tables that provide a distraction while you talk. The staff were courteous and prompt. Stop by if you're in town to relax and unwind.
Awesome place and outstanding food
Great liver and onions tonight.
This is one of the places you love to go to. Great food wonderful place! Great prices. You have to go! We try to go every chance we get. Parking can be a small problem but worth it. The best prime rib sandwich I have in years.GO!
Super good place, great Bloody Marys, good food, good atmosphere and a good beer selection! Highly recommended.
Very good prime rib but the place is a bit on the expensive side. I have only gone there three or four times in the 29 years that I've lived in this city.
Great food and friendly service. Wonderful desserts - recommend the Bread Pudding! Prime Rib excellent!
Absolutely amazing! Lived in Cheyenne for 23 year's. This is hands down the best place to eat in town. I'm extremely picky when it comes to steak and they nailed it! Our waitress Kendra was delightful and made us feel welcome as could be!
Great customer service for restaurant!!! Waitresses are on point with continuous monitoring of drinks, appetizers and just to check on u! Yummy food!!! Had the sirloin salad.....mmmmmm!
Absolutely delicious prime rib sandwich, and on a Monday, at that. Great service, with a reasonable draft beer list. Excellent value for dollar all the way around. If in Cheyenne, WY stop in. It's right by an iconic late 19th Century railroad station. You won't be disappointed.
Good food
Amazing food Everytime. And the bar is always a great place to relax for a couple drinks
This is a good restaurant right in downtown Cheyenne. I got a Chile hot dog and it was good. The staff was alright, they seemed a little pushy at the end though. The food was good but not great. It seemed to be a restaurant, that was just a bit above average. Overall it was a decent restaurant.
Good place for meeting friends for drinks.
Great soup, salad and sandwich!!
So we had a group of 13 from DGRS train club based out if Golden, Colo - Hannah was our server and she was amazing. We had great food and care. Thank you and keep up the great job!
Excellent prime rib, but disappointed in the mashed potatoes
Nice place. Good food with friendly staff.
Food at Albany is always good. Love the vegetarian options that were recently added to the menu. Staff is friendly and do their best to make you happy and comfortable. Best bread pudding ever.
Good service and pleasant atmosphere
Best restaurant in Chyenne! Love the prim rib!
Wonderful place to have lunch, recommend to everyone. Pleasant atmosphere and great food.
Our food was excellent. We had quick service from hostess, bartender and waitress. Reasonable prices on all items. Order drinks at their bar while we waited for our table. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by a friendly and courteous waitress. We ordered water and appetizer of bull nuts. They were not overcooked and came promptly. My salad was fresh and the homemade salad dressing was delicious. Their house favorite, the open prime rib sandwich was delicious and tender. Their chile Rellenos were also good. It was the annual Frontier Days so lots of people but still had great service and fresh food.
Kinda bland food. Service wasnt anything to jump up and down about.
Good food and good service
Good service, good food and reasonably priced.
