Delicious burger! Friendly, efficient service by multiple wait-staff! Lovely location! If it is warm enough when you are here, eat on the patio surrounded by wild flowers and flowered planters!
Check the menu for the food you like. The ribs are great.
Wonderful beef. The corn chowder with Elk is delicious.
Upscale dining with casual atmosphere.
I can see why its a 5 star!
Best greens I've had around here. And best hoity toity grilled cheese. The White Russian-insomnia is my favorite version of the White Russian.
Great meal. Great service.
Great service, terrible food. Our waiter was very friendly and helped me pick out a great beer. I order the butchers steak, expecting a normal size steak. Instead, I received a steak that was 1/4 the size of a normal burger and greatly overcooked. It would be acceptable if it was near the size size of a very small steak, but it was literally 3 normal to small sized bites. It was supposed to be medium rare minus, instead it was medium plus. Everyone else found their food to be satisfactory.
The service is great, and this place is very very popular. Breakfast food is good, apres is standard and welcome after a long day of skiing. We didn't eat dinner here, but I'm sure the menu and service is just as good. I'd call the menu standard American with pancakes, eggs and potatoes, nachos, and a good bar.
Great service from a very friendly and attentive waiter. The venison was perfectly prepared and delicious. The Veggie lasagna was flavorful and a great vegetarian option. Nice wine list and drink menu. Prices are on the high side, but this is sort of expected when you are slope side in Teton Village.
We found this place sadly, on one of our last days in the Village, but highly recommend it. We stopped in for a bottle of wine and conversation and were expertly taken care of by Nate, who was recommended to us by other people we met. Nate took good care of us and provided us with some local information that was interesting and very useful during our stay. Upon our next visit, we most definitely plan to make this a repeat. We also want to give a mention to Tanner who greeted us and provided us with an overview of the restaurant and we look forward to seeing them both next time.
Good wait staff. Bartenders are OK
Eggs were cold.
Best place to eat and drink in Teton Village
We ate here a few times as the restaurant was in our lodge. The food was really good from both the lunch and dinner menus. You have to try the appetizer Devils on Horseback, wow we did not expect to like it so much! Once a server finally made it to the table, the service was good but the few times we went we were waiting a while. It's open seating so I don't know how long it takes for someone to tell them people have seated. The hostesses were pretty useless.
Great food and unique cocktails that were also very tasty.
Nice place for cocktails and good appetizers. Not great views.
Some of the menu items had a twist to them. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. The variety of cocktail drinks were all amazing. They offer items to satisfy the traditional palette as well as the adventurer one.
Mediocre breakfast buffet, highly overpriced. Well known Boyne Mount Resort charges $15 for a tasty breakfast buffet, including custom order omelette. The spur charged $23, without omelette. A shame, prefer to give 4 or 5 star reviews.
Most delicious dinner experience. First class service with absolutely amazing food choices. The devils on horseback as appetizer, 'Satobe' Kobe steak, and date toffee cake are an absolute must! Drinks from the bar are mixed perfect. The experience is well worth an hour drive!
We visited in March and enjoyed sitting at the bar. Ted and Olivia were wonderful! The mini tuna tacos are delicious! For dessert we suggest the bread pudding!
Nice staff and lovely food
We visited WY in July 2018 for our small wedding. We are from MD so we planned our entire trip based on social media, web research and a lot of Trip Advisor reviews! Spur was one of the dinner options for our group of 12 (included one child). Our first night in Jackson we met a local who worked at another restaurant we visited. He was delighted to hear all of our choices for food while in town. As we listed Spur he was seemingly less excited. I questioned him and he said that the service was just ok. I was bummed, to say the least, concerned our group would be disappointed as well. We arrived at Spur for our reservation and while parking was really tough because of live music just outside the hotel we were greeted nicely and seated just along the windows. Our server, Crozier was outstanding! and the food by Chef Kevin, incredible! They were able to expedite the food for the child in our party and even brought him snacks to tide him over while we waited. At the conclusion of our meal I pulled our waiter over, told him my concern prior to having arrived. That his service and the fare was so far beyond our expectations that we must have their names so we could write a review. Please visit Spur if you're in Teton Village. Crozier is simply delightful and Chef Kevin does not disappoint.
It wasnt great this time as it has been. Small portions too. High price.
Wonderful food, great service and good atmosphere. Jackson Hole has great food and this might be the best yet.
Good
I was getting underwhelmed by most of the restaurants in the Teton Village area but this place redeemed it for me. The roast chicken breast dish I had was flavorful, juicy, and satisfying. Atmosphere was great, a nice beer list at the bar, and super friendly and accommodating staff. They had no problem at all getting tables together for our group at 8 who showed up at the last minute for dinner.
Incredibly over priced.
Good food, reasonable prices for a resort eatery. Service was slow, so do not be in a hurry when you go there. A bit of a walk back uphill to start skiing again after lunch.
Pretty good dining experience overall. It's conveniently located right by the slopes and we got right in for a late lunch. There is a sizeable bar area with TV's and the staff are nice. She got the burger and it was really good. I got the chicken breast sandwich but the chicken was only 1/4 inch thick so it was almost all bread. I'd probably go back but I'd order something else.
Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow. Friendly staff
Good service, Good food
Very good food, not heavy at all but still tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor seating was very relaxing and shaded so i would come again
Way too expensive relative to the food quality. Dry fish. Burned vegetables. Leathery "sweet" corn. The cheese and meat board we got for appetizer was probably the best thing we had. If you're gonna charge those prices you better step up the quality big time.
The cheese board is a great portion size and was amazing. The crakers are the exact ones we buy for home, so it was a great surprise for us. The place was very clean and spacious. The service was outstanding. I also got the Brussels, again amazing with melted cheese sprinkled over. Yum
Great service, delicious apps and cocktails!
Went here for breakfast and it was horrible. There was barely any food and only coffee with no creamer and orange juice. Its 18$ per person for the buffet breakfast. I've had 10 times better breakfasts at hotels with complimentary breakfast. Absolutely disappointing.
Food was cold and poached egg wasn't cooked. The whites we're very runny.
Worst experience ever! The bartender took my brother in laws I.d who is well over 21 to the back for inspection and destroyed it. I will never spend another cent at this at this location!!
Food was great, had the special which was duck & waffles.
Tasty soup, appetizers, and good presentation. We had the kobe steak and it was fabulous.
Great service, we went here in the afternoon to get some salad and soups. They were delicious Breakfast buffet was a different story, my child had food allergies and they are not accommodating at all. The buffet was far from delicious, they were telling us that they could bring out some cereal for my child but they never did whenever we ask them
Joseph was great at the bar. Good service and recommendations on menu items didn’t disappoint.
Incredible and tasty food
Food was so good! Great wine list!
Can be quite crowded after the slopes close
Get the Spur bar! The chicken is amazing. This restaurant mixes fine dining with casual environment.
Wonderful place. All from scratch.
Solid food and drinks. Staff are friendly, but wait times are long between ordering-food arrival-check, etc.
Slow inattentive service, but good food. Too bad they took off the devils on horseback, that was the only reason I went.
Really loved this restaurant. Went there two times during my stay at Teton Village. Everything was great!
Terrible service, burgers came without any toppings, and wrong sides. Asked for toppings and they brought the wrong ones. Drinks never arrived. $17 for the smallest burger. I would skip and try another place in Teton Village.
Great food!
Fantastic good and drinks
What they mean to tell you when they say business hours is that they are closed from 10:00-11:30. So don’t go all the way there thinking they are open (since they say they are) only to be disappointed. Do people fast from 10:00-11:30 in this town? One of the only close places to eat if you’re staying at the hotel but god forbid you sleep in, then you’re sh** out of luck until 11:30! Update your business hours! Update: originally gave it a one star but they did update their hours, thank you, that will save a lot of confusion for people I’m sure! We did end up going their for their breakfast buffet and it was amazing!! Expensive but was delicious! And our service was great!
Great drinks and atmosphere.
Great food good people
Yikes! Skip it!!! Got the buffet, only thing edible was maybe the eggs and chobani yogurt. Served our plates then were told basically hurry b/c the buffet was actually closing (although they were really nice in their delivery of that fact it would have been helpful to know before we sat so we didn’t feel rushed after spending almost $35 for just eggs and yogurt). No service during the meal, even the plates weren’t cleared we sat over them until we left.
Good food, especially the bison sliders. Very slow service however.
Service was not good! We got a table really quick but it was 15 mins before anyone asked for drink orders, after that another 15 mins to get our food order. Food was mediocre at best(steak and chicken). Tourist trap in my opinion! Prices are very high!
Good breakfast and happy hour food.
Not a good experience. I ordered the wagyu as it was recommended. The steak was very tough. When I mentioned this to the server, I was told that it was tough because I ordered it medium. He acted like he really didn’t want to deal with it. The sides were fine although they were like warm. Would try somewhere else in the village before going here.
The food was great! The bartender Mike was awesome and knows his stuff.
Bread appetizer was awesome. Cheese appetizer was awesome. Short ribs were awesome, fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. Strawberry desert was good with both fresh strawberries and soaked dried strawberries with ice cream.
We stopped in to grab a quick bite for lunch before downhill MTB. The service was really good and the food was so so. I just feel a little over priced for what we got, but I get it...it is a resort. The chili was really good though and I liked how they used cornbread as the croutons.
Had breakfast here for a week while we stayed @ the Teton Mountain Lodge. Nate took care of us all week and by the end of the week he knew my coffee order pretty well. Breakfast is good but dinner was absolutely amazing. We had the Buffalo NY Strip and the Pot Roast and super impressed, best meal we had in Jackson Hole.
Delicious food very reasonably priced.
Food was excellent, service good, except food was brought out so fast, you had to keep stuffing food in your mouth very fast, just to keep up with the courses. They would just plop down the next course, with no consideration that your still eating appetizers, or salad. Too bad this felt like a fast food joint.
I had a pan seared duck with rice, zucchini and roasted cauliflower, followed by prickly pear and watermelon sorbet. Everything about the food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you are eating in Teton Village.
Atmosphere was lovely and everyone was very friendly, but the the level of service was lacking and the food was disappointing.. We got our drinks in good time, but after that everything else took forever including our server. After we were completely paid out the table was still covered with dirty dishes and I watched multiple servers standing around not helping others out. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I would say that the restaurant has a lot of potential, but a little more heart needs to go into it.
Typical resort restaurant. Limited menu nothing great all average and overpriced. And if it’s on the menu, that doesn’t mean they have it
Absolutely fantastic. Every meal was delicious, the appetizer fries with elk gravy are a MUST. went for lunch, will definitely be coming back. Everyone loved their meals. 5 stars!!
Riley provided an excellent service while the relaxed atmosphere was a perfect way to unwind.
Great food, don't miss the Waymatoes (Wyoming fried green tomatoes). Slow service and no view of the Tetons or the valley.
good food
I fantasize about their chicken sandwich regularly
Great lunch! Yummy pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese! Loved it!
Correct.
Food was excellent, but the staff are so snobby and rude. I have heard so many good things about JH. I will not be back
Great margaritas, very good nachos
Nice place, with great Brussels Sprouts
Delicious food and great service, but a meat heavy menu. There's vegetarian appetizer options but the polenta cake entree was not great. Brussel sprouts are a must order
Incredible surprise. We dined here because the Mangy Moose was closed, which turned out to be the best mistake of our trip! My wife had the pot roast , and I had the steak, both were super good. Our server ( Mike) really took the time to make great suggestions and was very attentive. Highly recommend!!
Best nachos and apre spot. $3 beers are back! The best option in the vil.
Both the service and food was excellent. Also, cost was reasonable.
(Translated by Google) Great breakfast. Great staff. (Original) Prima ontbijt. Prima personeel.
Unreal nachos. Nuff said
Great food. Wide variety of options and the staff provided helpful input on the menu. We grazed on a half dozen items items over a couple of hours and we enjoyed all of it. Staff was friendly and did not turn their nose up at us at all as we had just finished a lengthy hike. Great service and food - we will certainly return! Loved the fresh food with local ingredients!
Good environment good food good service. They split the wagyu to two serve for my wife and me! Fantastic restaurant here.
Great Food, Brilliant service and awesome bar staff. And the scenery? Magnificent!
Just had an excellent meal and our waiter, Mike, was superb! Recommend making a reservation because it was busy. Had the duck special (YUM), ordered a side of brussel sprouts, and my boyfriend had the steak. Thanks for a wonderful meal and experience!
Very poor service
Great food and service
Nice spot to have a drink with your friends.
Fabulous food - my spouse and kids loved the menu
Some guy on the lift said this was the best place in Teton Village and he nailed it! Everything was outstanding! Try the pastrami sandwich made with bison, and the elk poutine on the side!
Really great late lunch after a a day in the tetons
A locals favorite with a fantastic bar and draft beer selection. The food is outstanding - burgers are a meal and a half. Quick and friendly staff...
Staff and food is great. I like their salmon Reuben. Great food for a leisurely ski break
Food is good, but everything seems to be drown in a sauce or glaze. Be sure to ask for your sauce on the side if you want to taste the actual protein.
awesome place , Great food and staff
Fantastic steak after a long flight!
One of the Best Sandwiches I have ever experienced...BLTA...the Tomato was a Wyoming fried green tomato!...Oh My...:)
Visited Spur twice while staying in Jackson. The spicy margaritas are amazing and the 307 fries are also super good!
My husband and I have dined here four times and had an excellent experience every time. The waitstaff has been attentive without hovering, helpful with menu suggestions, and food delivery was prompt. My husband said his steak was one of the best he'd ever had. I've had the pork chop and roasted chicken breast, and found both to be delicious. The 307 Fries is our favorite dish: "braised venison and buffalo gravy, pommes frites, Lifeline cheddar cheese". It's worth going just for drinks and the fries! One thing that really impressed me was watching the manager pitch in and clear tables, deliver dishes, and take orders. It says a lot for his character and the tone of the restaurant. Outdoor seating is available in the summer, and do make a reservation if only to guarantee immediate table availability. The restaurant is located in Teton Mountain Lodge, so be prepared to go through the hotel lobby and down to the secondary level for the dining room.
Amazing Old Fashioned made with barrel aged whiskey! The bartenders are all awesome. Dinner food menu is more upscale and pricy. That's why I gave it 4 stars but all the food choices I had in 3 time eating there were really good.
One rib!!!!!!! Really, that's all you get if you order the Buffalo short ribs. Do go there if you are hungry. Every dish I saw was tiny. Not very tasty for rib(s).
Beautiful lounge and excellent service.
Really leaves something to be desired. TLDR; food was great, service was below average. Ironically the servers at the mangy moose were far more attentive. Pros: * The bacon wrapped dates were amazing * Brussel sprouts also very good * Good wine list, nice ambiance Cons * Ordered a refill of my drink after we finished appetizers, had to ask again twice (once to my waiter and once to another server who brought the food), waited 20 minutes to get a simple ginger ale refill * When it came, it was flat and they had to change out the pack in the back...but the server didn’t ask “can I get you something else in the meantime?” * Ordered the ribeye (~$50) medium rare, definitely came medium well...a miss (still very tasty cut though!) * When my steak came, I only had my butter knife and had to flag down a waiter (after patiently waiting 5-10 minutes) and ask for a steak knife, I don’t want to wedge through a $50 ribeye with a butter knife * Pepper mill at our table and the table next to us was totally empty, feels like for their prices they should check and fill the salt/pepper shakers * Pork shanks were far too fatty (two members of our party ordered them) * Another missed opportunity, we had one bottle of wine for a table of 7, and finished it through the appetizer, server never came back to ask if the table wanted to order another bottle The above are 100% admittedly kind of nit-picky, but when they all add up...for a restaurant aiming to meet fine dining standards, I feel like they consistently missed some of the little things that you really expect to turn a meal into an experience. There aren’t a lot of other options for sit down meals in the area, and we won’t be back in the area (on vacation), but I’d recommend going somewhere else. If we lived here I’m confident we wouldn’t go back.
Made lunch reservations the day before and had a large party of 15. They did a great job accommodating the party and folks loved the bacon bloody Mary's! I had a passion fruit margarita and it was also excellent. Not too sweet and had a kick from the pepper infused tequila. Deviled eggs were a hit; pleasantly salty, great constancy with the creamy filling and crunchy capers on top. The special soup was chicken tortilla and was well prepared. The pastrami, made in house, was excellent as well.
Ok...
Ordered breakfast 15 minutes before restaurant opened. Great room service.
Best bar in the village
The most ridiculously amazing food, all made from scratch. Good cocktails, good service, great experience!
Excellent food. A bit pricey. The elk prime rib is a wonder. So good.
