The food was delicious! The staff incredibly friendly and remembered our names after asking for our orders. Came to the table as often as we would have wanted and food was delivered promptly. Prices great, quantity and quality were 5/5. I'll be back again if ever im in Sheridan!

Have you ever stopped somewhere for a quick lunch and been overwhelmingly surprised by the quality of the food? When I visited Sheridan, Wyoming last summer, the locals told me to go to The Pony for the best pub food I’ll ever have. Now, I’ve had pub food everywhere, so my expectations weren’t too high. But one day I needed a quick lunch and stopped in. Boy was I proven wrong! These are the best fries I’ve ever had! One day I ate the tacos, another day I came back for a sandwich — every time it was fantastic. If you’re passing through Sheridan and you wanna sit on a really nice deck and eat solid pub food, please visit The Pony.

This place is solid, but used to be better. New ownership brought in higher prices and food quality to a dip. Staff can be a bit gruff sometimes. This is a fun place to visit in the summer, the deck is a fun and cool place to hang out and enjoy a beer with a burger. I would recommend sticking with steak and burgers. Beer selection could be better, but they do offer brews from the local brewery along with the standard domestic options, so can't complain.

Fun little spot to grab a bite to eat. Great food at great prices. Be sure to get there early for lunch or be prepared to wait just a little as it is a popular place. Great location just off of the main drag in Sheridan.

The service here was excellent. Really good considering this is just a sports bar. We were looked after very well. The food selection was great. The food was a little off though. My dad got the sausage wrap and it was superb. Tons of tasty fries and all that. My medium rare burger was medium well. It was more then juicy enough and as we were in some what of a hurry I could not wait for another. My daughter's medium rare burger (same as mine "the Bronc") was perfect. Hers was perfectly medium rare and extra juicy. My wife's Philly cheese steak was a little off. The peppers and onions had a vinegar taste that was not to her or my liking. In fact after removing the veggies the taste lingered on the meat. Otherwise a great selection of beers, and booze, and as mentioned great service. I will be back just because the service was so good.

Food was good and reasonably priced. The servers have a weird team approach which led to my beer order being missed. However, the day was saved when 15 minutes later the gal I had ordered from brought a beer and told me she had forgotten it and it was free.

Typical bar-type menu. Food is good and popcorn is free. First of all you can sit inside or outside. I had a Rib-eye sandwich with onion rings which were great.

We were traveling and drove a good 10 minutes off the interstate to try this place out because of other recommendations. It is certainly a hotspot in town and on the positive side, the service was terrific. Our food wasn't bad, it was just so so. My sandwich needed Salt and I'm not real big on salt so that tells you how blonde I found it to be. Maybe we just ordered wrong, the salads and soups looked good that other people near us we're having.

Food is great but the servers need to learn to be more polite and gracious to their customers. There seems to be a certain rudeness that comes from Sheridan staff as if we are all tourists. Guess what, I am a Wyoming native, born and raised in the beautiful state and rugged country. You should treat people with respect and kindness and not walk around with a chip on your shoulder. Frankly, if you don't like to serve then get another job. I will go back for the food and hope that they will become more friendly at the pony. If not I will drop the stars down even further but I hope I can see a change in staff attitude regarding its customers and that they will do their work with a smile.

Always crazy good and super friendly. Our server was pretty awesome, she came by and topped off drinks regularly and made sure the food was perfect. They have exactly what you are craving, bar food to real food. Their steak sandwich is to die for. The only missed opportunity was the buffalo wings.... Don't wipe your eyes while eating them... Bad joojoo. But then again, it makes the wait staff have a nice laugh!

A fun sports bar. They have a wider menu to choose from than many. The big covered deck is a great spot to eat or imbibe with friends. The food is good and reasonably priced and a decent selection of beers on tap.

The way you don't have just a server, but everyone kind of helps everyone seems to not be a very efficient way of doing things. My husband and I went in for a later dinner one night and it took FOREVER to get our food. The manager was friendly, some of the waitresses are... food is okay. My wings contained two broken drum sticks where the only part I received was the bone end , not the good meaty end, but they were definitely part of the small portion count! Too pricey for what you end up getting, especially considering the service.

This place is always packed, the drinks are always filled, and the food is solid. We always frequent the Pony whenever we stay in Sheridan. Tried the BBQurrito this visit - sausage, mac and cheese queso and something else - definitely an experience. Pair it with a pint of Bent Nail IPA and you're set. Definitely a go-to joint during rodeo week.
