Love Nora's for breakfast. Love the restaurant environment. The best Sourdough pancakes I have tasted. Head to Wilson, WY for a great experience! Mike - Denver
Fantastic breakfast, great location, friendly staff and down-home ambiance that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Breakfast is our fave meal there, lunch is good too. When I asked our waitress how the biscuits and gravy were, and she told me they were "slap your momma good," well, I had to try. She was right! Norene was the best, attentive, cheerful, even giving me a high five at one point over a shared joke. The location is midway between Jackson and the Teton Valley, so perfect no matter where you are visiting. Highly recommend for a great start to your day.

If you're living in the area and frequent this place often, you will likely appreciate having it; because the food is decent. But, if you're a tourist, you may find it disturbing to tolerate the impatience and attitudes of the wait staff. I get that they probably have all the business they need so they really don't care if you do business with them or not but they should at minimum respect themselves enough not to leave people with horrible experiences. I'm the most patient and understanding Southern boy on beautiful planet Earth and I took my licks and smiled but inside I really wanted to be from Chicago or New York and lose my polite mind with that girl. Her attitude was beyond rude and could only be described as the personification of evil. The breakfast, however, was pretty good. So, if you're a fan of Seinfeld and you want a personal "soup Nazi" experience to round up your life experiences...try this place on for size.
Five stars for breakfast, particularly the huevos rancheros, the best I've ever had.
Excellent breakfast at a good price, good service, cool quirky decor. Go there.
One of our favorite breakfast spots since we live in Wilson. This restaurant has a reputation for rude service. I had never experienced that in the 20 years I've been coming here but this time our waitress was totally rude to me. My grandchildren were with me and were appalled. I'll go back but it is too bad to treat customers so badly even if you are busy.
Great place packed with local atmosphere.
This is supposed to be the best breakfast joint in the Jackson Hole area and it lives up to that billing... If there is such a thing as down-home gourmet this is it... Very busy but food gets out fast
Best biscuits and gravy and sourdough banana bread!
Very best fresh blueberry pancakes ever. The rest of the menu must also be wonderful. Too bad I don't live around. Decent and honest prices. Hope to get there again in the future.
Nice place for lunch or breakfast. No soda fountain soft drinks.
Awesome breakfast. Must stop if you are near Wilson.
Great food at fair price!
Amazing get the banana bread french toast
Went for breakfast and had wonderful trout and eggs. Eggs arrived as ordered and trout perfectly cooked. Try the everything crosant, a $1 upgrade. Also had a brie and asparagus omelet that was equally good. Service was great but probably best not to be in a hurry, good food takes time. Parking lot in front. Can get very busy so a wait could be needed at peak time.
Best damn breakfast you'll ever have. And while it's very much a locals place, you will often be seated in the same room with 3 or 4 billionaires who own vacation homes in the Jackson area.
The Reuben was great! The fish tacos and philly cheesesteak had no flavor. The service was meh. The waitress seemed put out when we asked her for things and didn't check on us. The guy who cleared our plates, the other waitress and both the cashiers were nice!
I love the trout here. The service is awesome along with management unforgettable experience
Great hamburger with blue cheese. Fries and salad included. Best in the area.
Juevos are the best
Outstanding eatery with old time rustic flair.
Best place for breakfast before hitting the slopes @ Jackson Hole. Love the Huevos Rancheros!
Go to place for hearty breakfast in comfortable and friendly surroundings. Nora's doesn't even need another review, as the steady stream of regulars keep them hopping. From perfect pancakes to excellent huevos rancheros, you can't go wrong at Nora's.
Wonderful place. The atmosphere is awesome, staff is friendly and informative. And there food is the best in my opinion, in Wyoming. Can't wait to go back.
Delicious! Family told us it was a must visit and to have the huevos. They were right! Our toddler had the banana bread french toast and it was delicious!
Good food choices, service was excellent. Cute place.
Reliable, hearty, flavorful dishes. No better place for traditional breakfast.
Good place to hang out when the Pass is closed.
Awesome food great atmosphere great people, very nice, classic mom and pop type place!!
Nora's Fish Creek Inn represents everything that is good about dining in rural Western America. First and foremost the people are real. Super friendly and great service. No pretense. The food portions are great and the ingredients are high quality. The menu has excellent options and they aren't reluctant to accommodate your customizations. Great value and you'll leave full and happy. My favorite breakfast by far near Jackson Hole!
Great place near Jackson. Not to expensive average $9-15 meals. I would definitely recommend getting the biscuits and gravy! They were outstanding
Great local place. Great People! I went alone which through them off but still great service. They did put me in the corner which for some reason places do when I go a lone for some reason. The food was good. I had the trout and eggs. It was basic and not too expensive either. The potatoes weren't my favorite would have been my only complaint. I would definitely go back to this place.
Always efficient and friendly waitresses. Really good food.
Good place
Best place to eat in Wilson! Great food & Great service!!

We had breakfast - tried the trout, banana bread french toast, texas toast french toast, sweet roll, breakfast burrito, biscuit & gravy, pancakes - all were beyond delicious! The staff was very friendly and shared lots of suggestions to help us tourists. Thanks Nora's Fish Creek!
Great breakfast menu. Recommend their huevos ranchero. Awesome service
Generous plates at a good price with friendly staff. We eat here every time we are in the Jackson area.
Norene was incredibly friendly when we walked in. The menu has something for everyone, including some spicy selections. Price was reasonable and coffee and food were delicious! Will definitely come again!
Best biscuits and gravy in the world!
Great food and atmosphere
Excellent breakfast and lunch. Western atmosphere friendly staff good choice, kid friendly.
What a wonderful place to have breakfast while visiting Jackson! The staff was very friendly, coffee cup stayed full, food was delicious.
Fantastic food
I had a bad experience here but it is a locals favorite
Great breakfast and coffee, homemade salsa, fast and friendly staff! Steak and eggs were perfect!
I would give this a single star to deter people from coming here, so it doesn't get more popular and loose it hidden gem status, but that wouldn't be fair. This is a fantastic place. Great breakfast. Very busy during the weekend, but the great staff just keeps truckin'. Will go here everything I come to Jackson Hole. This place has character!
Wall to wall customers because of the food and the no nonsense service. Try the trout for any meal. Only negative is the noise, a small price to pay.
We had breakfast here twice and both times the food was excellent as was the service. If you're staying in the Jackson area, I recommend you stop here.
Wilson's best breakfast/lunch cafe.
We had some trouble getting acknowledged at the bar the other morning, so waited for a table and things went fairly smoothly from that point on. Food is actually really good. Scale 1-10 for breakfast, give it a 8-8.5. It's a busy place just outside town, but the food is worth the wait to be honest, and they actually cooked your food to your liking, i.e. scrambled eggs cooked medium actually came out just like that, and most shops just cook you scrambled eggs. Most of the staff is accommodating and friendly, we just didn't have a good experience with being ignored at the bar initially. Otherwise, giving a 5 for the food and other wait staff. Cozy place to have a bite, would go back, as we did twice, and second experience was better.
Good breakfast was absolutely packed so service was a little bit slow but to be expected with lots of large parties coming in but it was great
Delicious food. Went here with Kevin Kennath, Jaime Ross, and Eric Myers back in June 2012. Was a terrific spot to grab breakfast before making our way to Idaho Falls.
The best food and prices and Jackson area!!
Good food friendly staff
Slow service. They were short handed. The trout was overcooked and some of the food was cold.
I just had one of the best breakfasts of my life. This place is so good and fits the perfect breakfast diner atmosphere and food for the area. This is a must go place.
This place is good old home cooking breakfast. They have a rare everything croissant which you should definitely try. I had the banana bread french toast and it melted in my mouth. Just make sure you get there super early cause it can majorly busy.
I was craving trout and this place didn't disappoint! I had the salad with log fries and it was all fabulous! Didn't have to wait and we were seated and received food in less than 10 minutes. We plan to have breakfast there again on our last day in Wyoming!
Waitress was the rudest we have ever had. Came from Texas, your place was recommended. Will never return.
Great little place for breakfast. I enjoyed the corned beef hash and my friend’s sourdough pancake was out of this WORLD good - actually sour!
Today is the second time we’ve eaten at Nora’s. The service was ok, but nothing to incline you to tip extra. Our order (sandwiches) was disappointing because the side salad was completely wilted and unappetizing. Moreover, the accompanying French fries were old, and completely over cooked, too chewy to eat, perhaps left under the warmer from the day before. We don’t remember the food quality being this bad last year. At $$ a plate I expected better.
Great food and great service next time I'm in the are I'm visiting the restaurant again
Our group had a mixed experience. When we arrived we would told the wait would be about an hour because we had 6 people during their morning rush on Memorial Day. We didn't mind waiting and ended up getting a table in about 30 minutes. The server was efficient and not overly friendly but took good care of us. All of our food didn't come out at the same time and it wasn't all hot. However, the banana bread french toast, though a little thicker/denser than I would prefer, was delicious. The bacon was crispy and tasty. My son said his hot chocolate was GREAT! Hashbrowns and eggs came out cold. One of our orders of french toast was MIA so everyone else was finished by the time it arrived. Maybe it was just an incredibly busy day being a holiday. I would go again but, if they hadn't been so busy, there are definitely items we would have sent back.
Awesome spot for breakfast in Wilson. Their salsa is amazing and the coffee was strong. Good place to fuel up before hitting the slopes.
Nora's is a local's and visitor's favorite for lunches and breakfast. You can order half sandwiches with a cup of soups for the light eaters. They offer the usual breakfast and troud with eggs is on their menu.
Great food also waitress great prices very friendly very efficient nicest people
Not what it was but still good food if you get there early enough.
Yummy biscuits and gravy
A locals place. Old building. Restaurant has been there forever. If you are looking for fine dining this isn't it. If you want great food served by locals in a historic old building this is the place.
Try the banana bread French toast.
Based on the reviews I feel like I am the odd man out. I did not have a good experience AT.ALL. I stood at the front forever before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. My service wasn't anything that stood out. She was more worried about finding a tip that she might have lost. She mentioned that there was a new cook but I had basics and it took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. my hashbrowns were ice cold, my ham was burnt and dried out and my gravy on my biscuits was just nasty. The biscuits itself were good, I scraped the gravy off. Overall very disappointed. :(
Very disappointed with Jackie. Been there 3 times. 2 outta the 3 were horrible. Never been treated that bad by a waitress in my life. I will never go back. She told me I was an inconvenience cause I kindly asked if she could split the bill between me and my coworkers. And also told me to tell my worker he didn't tip her? I tipped $20. not my problem.
The food was great and the service was truly excellent. I thought I lost something valuable there and the staff was beyond helpful and understanding about the inconvenience. Thank you all
Awesome great atmosphere.Exellnt customer service.Very busy for a reason.
Go elsewhere !!Came in for food. Asked an older waitress (actually she may have just been in her late 30s but looked 50). a question ... she was RUDE and very short . We left ! So many other places to eat that will respect you and be happy you are there to spend your money. Try being nice to your guests ! Also there were probably 10 tables open and they made us stand in the busy entrance. Go somewhere else! Reading all the other 1 star reviews .... they are all about a extremely RUDE woman who works there ..... I think you need to fire her . Owners! If you want people to like your place... fire the long dirty blonde hair waitress! Terrible
An institution that has gotten a bit better with age. Everyone should go there.
I understand being busy, but we waited for a seat for awhile, after being seated, along with another table, we never got help. (The other table did!) Our waitress walked passed us several times not helping us once, no coffee, water, menus. After she seated another table, (after we had been there for over 15 minutes with not even a menu) and proceeded to take their order before we even got a menu, we left! Once again I understand being busy. But this was just ridiculous.
The service is just as amazing as the food!
Long wait, mediocre food, indifferent waitress- what could be better? 1. Long wait- ok, I get that- they're busy, no prob. but I saw 2-3 open tables for quite a awhile before we were seated. 2. Mediocre food. I don't know, what can I say? It was just ok. Coffee was terrible, tasted like it sat on the burner too long. Asked for fresh coffee- got more of the same. Pretty pricey for what we got. Waffle House was better. 3. Waitress was in a hurry and impatient. Again- I know you're busy but attitude counts a lot.
Good breakfast, haven't tried the lunch but will in the future. Weird that they don't take names down for a waiting list. Seems like that is for novelty sake only as it is of no benefit to the consumer. Would make things better if they would do that.
Delicious food and great service! Jackie was a fantastic server!
Good food but very busy and a little spendy but not out of line with the area.
The only reason I give it 3 stars is because of the atmosphere. I understand a popular place being busy, however, cold food, sloooow, service. My relative ordered toast and jam and the bread wasn't toasted and it came with no jam. Biscuits were super dry which would have been fine had there been adequate gravy, excellent coffee but had to track down the waitress to get more, etc. It's probably a good place if you can catch them when they aren't busy...Jackson Hole.....when would that be? Good atmosphere, great coffee!
The people who run this place are fantastic. They make you feel like part of a family and the food and atmosphere is very homey. Definitely place to bring the entire family!
Ladies if you go to Noras Fish Creek Inn & have a boyfriend, beware of this waitress Cami!! She will "spill coffee" on him & get his number, feign friendship, lie to your face & then sleep with him!!! Do yourselves a favor, don't go there, don't allow this girl near you or your family & learn from me: trust your gut!!!
Best breakfast in Jackson Hole...
Amazing food, great service. The inside of the place make you feel right at home. Definitely had one of the best breakfasts of my life here, while passing through after visiting Yellowstone. Highly recommend this place. Trout with two eggs!!!
Best breakfast in Jackson. The food is wonderful and filling. There is a homely feel to Nora's Fish Creek Inn the staff make you feel right at home and comfortable. They have amazing omelets, my favorite is the Spanish omelet. Their biscuits and gravy...the best I have had. Five stars.
Fast service although it’s a very busy place with tasty food and relatively low cost prices. The server, Clarke was very patient and was able to handle many tables at once with a smile. Took the Spanish omelet and the Blubbery chocholate pancakes. Portions are large so can share, unless very hungry)).
Waited over an hour for breakfast, finally decided to just pay for coffee and the toast we had. Told the host on the way out. Step outside and we were chased by the manager who just yelled at us saying they were busy. Then we get to the car and another waitress has come out and chased us to the car demanding money. I explain to her that I have already paid and she proceeded to shout at us in the parking lot. The food has gone downhill over the years somehow it has still managed a following, I feel like with this kind of management the rest of it is going downhill soon.
This place has great food, worth a visit if your in Jackson hole.
Truly the best place to eat breakfast while in the Jackson Hole area! Super wait staff, menu and ambiance!
Always loved this place. Been coming for about 30 years.
Lived next to here for years & have been enough to know the food is okay but usually chosen for the convenience of its location. Seems like all they hire are waitresses & waiters with attitude problems. Sat at a table almost 30mins before even being offered a menu. Was looked at & walked past by 3 different employees yet 30 mins before 1st contact then there was an attitude when I wasn’t ready to order because I had no menu to look at. Forgot anything extra I asked for after that & they make no apologies for their poor service. While aesthetically the atmosphere is appealing as a local it’s honestly my least favorite place to dine.
Best omelette my girlfriend and I have ever had, plus the everything croissants are awesome
Great ambiance,food and service wondercul
Amazing food, amazing wait staff, amazing feel.
Seriously great breakfast. Everything was perfect. Wife loved the corned beef hash and the biscuits and gravy is the best in the area.
The best stroganoff I have ever had
Fantastic breakfast spot but get here early, the crowds get pretty deep by 10am or so. Our table had pastries (sweet roll was our fav), chicken fried steak, and chorizo and eggs. Everything was delicious, coffee was good, staff was friendly. Definitely will be back!
This place is amazin,, the owner, the manager and all the crews are really positive spirit. God bless y’all
Not impressed at all we went there because of tv show dinners drive - in and dives. One order was a simple ham cheese omlete. It was raw and had plastic from the cheese in it. The breakfast burrito green Chile tasted like it came out of a can had no flavor. And got several hard stems off the peppers in it. The only reason it got a 1 star cause the staff was nice. But overpaid for horrible food.
Not as good as it used to be. Very disappointing.
I enjoyed my meal here while visiting the area. Good quality food at reasonable prices. We were here for lunch. Not too busy and service was very good! Trout is thier specialty and is most with yummy mash potatoes!
Well by God, it was outstanding as usual. Best huevos rancheros this side of New Mexico.
Finally brought my 4 sisters to this great breakfast cabin! Now they know why everyone always returns!
Disappointed. Service great food poor. Prices too high
Great out of the way place for breakfast or lunch. Wonderful atmosphere and reasonable prices. A local Ace.
Great food and friendly staff...loved it...
Great breakfast. Friendly staff and helpful locals!
I'm in the military and stopped here on my way to my duty station. As we were passing thru, we recognized the name from Drivers Dive ins and dives. So we stopped in. It took awhile to get a waitress and when we finally did, she had an attitude like she needed to change her tampon. When we got our food, two of our plates had long red hairs in it. We as military cooks, we have to have our hair pulled back and off our shoulder and either our covers or hair nets on. That was very disgusting. We didn't leave a tip and walked out. MAKE SURE THE COOKS HAVE HAIR RESTRAINTS AT ALL TIMES. NO MATTER HOW LONG OR SHORT THE HAIR IS SOMETHING WILL FALL IN. EVEN IF YOUR BALD. YOUR SCALP SWEATS AND DRIPS INTO THE FOOD AND THE DRY SKIN CAN FALL IN.
Love this place. Food and service are perfect.
Great service and food. An historical building, fun atmosphere!
Nice place to grab a quick breakfast at the bottom of Teton Pass!
Hidden gem no more,
Great breakfast and very friendly service
Don't miss out on the wild blueberry pancakes they're the best in the land
This a a local secret that is not so secret anymore, so if you have a large party, make a reservation and know that it will be WORTH it! The food is excellent, genuinely homemade cooking and the staff is awesome genuine WY folks who treat you like one of the gang! MUST check out the omelettes, biscuits and gravy and chicken noodle soup!
Stopped in for breakfast. Pretty fast service for how busy they were. Nice setting, and good service.
Excellent food, great service & the Huevos Ranchos with Verde, yummy
Always great breakfast with a rustc Wyoming flair.
Best breakfast in town. Great place to fuel up for the days adventures!
Great food and great people. Cant wait to go back. Trout and eggs were great. I also LOVED the biscuits and gravy and wonderful bacon. I even got a bag of granola to go!
Great restaurant for breakfast. Fabulous coffee, food prepared by hand when you order. You could order anything on the menu and be impressed with what they deliver. Definitely worth leaving town for.
Great food, locally owned and operated. Nightly dinner specials, and friendly staff. I would definitely go back.
Trout and eggs for breakfast? Yeah, baby. This was the best meal we have eaten on this trip. Get the biscuits with gravy. I have never had gravy this good...ever. I love this place!
Excellent food, fun staff, they are so busy for breakfast that there can be a significant wait. If you're not in a hurry, it's well worth the wait.
