If you're ever in Cody, you need to come to Granny's for some wonderful food!! A few friends and I were in town and were trying to decide what to eat. Well, small towns usually close their kitchens early (around 830p), so it's hard to find something a little later. After crossing Sheridan twice and being turned away from other establishments because they were closed, we saw that Granny's was still open. We crossed Sheridan again and entered. We were immediately greeted warmly by the hostess who seated us in a booth and gave us our menus. By this time, we were all starving and it was 9:05p. I don't remember what my friends ordered, but I took a chance on their liver and onions. I was not disappointed in the slightest, which is a huge compliment because I'm had some not so great liver and onions. My meal was cooked to perfection and our server was just the sweetest!! When we were paying by the exit, the manager told us about Libations where those in the industry get to drink since it's open til midnight. That was helpful to know because we went there later in the week.

We stopped by for late morning breakfast and/or early lunch. My son had country fried steak, I had bacon and eggs. My wife had the French dip. Hot delicious food. My bacon was thick cut and crispy. The service was great, locals chatting away in a comfy establishment right near the US 14 exit out of Cody. Definitely worth a second visit next time we are on our way through Wyoming.

Good for a quick bite of American style comfort food. Breakfast is served all day, and is probably the best thing on the menu. Their pancakes are absolutely wonderful.

The place was busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress was kind and took our order. The problem was that our food arrived 45 minutes later. I asked for scrambled eggs and got fried eggs. I went ahead and ate them just bc it took so long to even get food. I would say the food was mediocre and definitely not worth the prices they charge. Overrated bc of the location. Most places in Cody are overrated and us tourists are taken advantage of.

I don't know if we were just lucky, but by the end of the meal we were stuffed and felt like we had a new friend, rather than just am outstanding server. We were given suggestions for places to check out while we were in town and fun stories to keep us giggling thorough our meal. This place was awesome.

The best place to eat in Cody!! Went there 5 or 6 times while staying in Cody for 4 days! Feels homestyle and welcoming- everywhere else in Cody feels a little touristy but Grannys has good service, great prices and awesome food!! Highlights for me - the pancakes, the omelette, the burgers and the coffee!! Definitely go here while in Cody!!

Service is good, food is good. However, the guy cleaning the tables, (from another country), was wiping the coffee cups and plates that were on the table off with the same cloth he used to wipe the table with and left those dishes on the table for the next guest. Highly unacceptable to me. Make sure you ask for clean dishes.

In this town there are about two places to get a breakfast that isn't Mexican or Fast Food. Bubba's BBQ and Granny's. I have had multiple poor experiences with the former, but Granny's has good food and great service, and it is one of the oldest remaining establishments in Cody.

This is where the old men go to eat breakfast, which indicates it's good food for a good price but it's not healthy. Breakfast all day long, and it's always good. My favorite is the Double Up! They have a decent salad bar and a good selection of sandwiches, dinners, and my favorite coffee in town. Did I mention breakfast? :)

I don’t know about the drug allegations from another review but I had the meatball sub and it tasted like canned tomato sauce and microwave meatballs. The fries had no flavor and no sweet tea.

I went for dinner and even though we were staying close we did not go back. The place is old and the food is only okay.. I ordered a rare steak and it was hard as a rock and way over cooked. The waiter never asked me how it was, never checked in us after bringing the food.

They were very accommodating of our large group and we felt perfectly content to enjoy the spread and just hang out as a family for a while!
