I loved this restaurant. Came at 3pm, and it was quiet but not too quiet. Waitress was very attentive to filling up water and coming when we were ready. I don't think I'll ever get used to the huge portion sizes here in Laramie, but it certainly is a bang for your buck. Thai pad fries are so delicious and filling. Pizza is cheap and a 10/10 also. Very impressed.

Great place! Food was great as stated on YELP! We had the pizza and Pad Thai Fries. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is they seem to stumble on seating. This isn't the first experience on that. They have a front area with table and a L shaped bar they could use for more meals served the hostess says she can't... Need to get this fixed!

We go here for brunch regularly, great biscuits and gravy. I keep my fingers crossed that one day they'll expand their breakfast menu! I bet they'd make awesome eggs Benedict or country fried steak!

The place was packed when my coworkers and I wandered in. The hostess said a one hour wait for a table. Luckily, we are three bar stool sitting fools. There was room at the bar and there was a good selection of beer on tap and bottled at the bar with said room. The bartender was on it with the service and the pints. I got the Raven burger with Pad Thai fries. The fries didn’t impress as much as I’d hoped. The burger was definitely fresh and pretty good, but not the jaw dropping experience I’d have thought from online reviews. If I was a local I’d eventually come back to try something else. As a traveling man, I’ll move on to try other places...

By far has the best (or one of the best) pizza in town. The atmosphere is a bit laid back but still is very warm. The food is greasy and delicious. Their kitchen is open late, which makes it perfect for the night owl.

Great little corner of Laramie! I tried a sandwich called the kingbird, which had bacon, bananas, peanut butter, pickles, and other regular toppings on a finely cooked burger. It was delicious! They also have more 'normal' burger options and fresh pizza.

This is our favorite restaurant in town! There are great burgers and creative pizzas, as well as fantastic appetizers. Pad Thai fries are the best thing since sliced bread! We never can resist ordering them. The place is small, but that just adds to the great, quirky atmosphere of the place. All the servers we’ve had have been quick, friendly, and helpful. Pizza is served hot, with great toppings and wonderful crust. I really can’t complain about the place. Just go.

Food is usually good, most of the staff are ok. However, waitress Naomi, followed me outside of the restaurant, to harass me about my tip.. I have been going to this restaurant for 2 years, and I will NEVER return. Harassing poor college kids over a tip is absolutely terrible customer service. Especially since I try to tip the best I can whenever I have the money.. I will be letting all of my friends know to stay far away from the Crowbar & Grill, especially with so many other bars and restaurants with much more professional staff. Ps. Restaurant had tons of flies that probably came from the dumpster in the nearby alley, not an ideal situation to have to guard your pizza, water and beer from them!

For food they do three things things: burgers, pizzas, and appetizers. But by sticking to these they bring them to the next level. There's nothing bad on the menu, only dishes to argue with your friends over on which were the best. I recommend the Sledgehammer Pizza with a shared appetizer of Parmesan Fries, or if you're feeling adventurous the Kingfisher Burger. Also their drink selection is superb, but in downtown Laramie this is the norm not the exception.

the crowbar USED to be good, now it's just overpriced and the food is underwhelming. The burgers are not anywhere as good as it was 6 months ago. I ordered a burger today and the first one came out today raw. My wife's was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. Everything is thrown together and slapped on the plates. fries we're still okay, but for$9 they better be. service could definitely be better as well. there are better places to eat in Laramie... hopefully they get it sorted out.

The food is delicious! Best fries in town, and a great beer selection. Typically the food takes a little while to come out, so not the best place if you are on a tight lunch deadline. Otherwise, well worth the stop. Try the king bird burger!

Haven't been here in a year and it may be that long again after this meal. When the food eventually came out it didn't look fresh...more overcooked....the burgers looked like black baseballs and the fries looked (and tasted) like they sat under the light too long. What a hidden gem. Spending the night in Laramie on the way to Yellowstone and randomly ended up here after reading reviews. Couldn't have been happier. Great relaxed atmosphere; friendly, fast service; and very high quality bar-inspired, but elevated food. The Pad Thai fries were delicious and unique. The pizzas were above average bar pizzas and the burgers were creative and seasoned perfectly. Went in after a long day driving, hoping for a decent meal, left feeling like we'd had an excellent meal at a restaurant we could very easy come back to again and again.

This place is so dirty. I was sitting at the bar and had a good view into the kitchen. The floor was covered in all kinds of dirt. The cook loaded the fryer with fries using his bare hands. The bar was sticky. The burger I ordered was way undercooked and greasy. Never go there again.

Awesome place with very well prepared high quality ingredients. Whether your staying in Larime or just passing through on 80 it's well worth the 5 minute ride from the highway. Great pizza and delicious burgers. Reasonably priced and good selection of beer. Check it out you'll be glad you did.

Always a little bit crowded and a little bit slow on the service but their beer selection and totally unique and delicious food items more than make up for that. Delicious pizza and a variety of burgers that you won't find anywhere else. And they are famous for their Pad Thai fries! Fun to go for just a beer and fries or for the entire meal. There's seating for couples small groups and a little bit larger groups. Always cozy in the winter and always fun in the summer.

The The menu looks great. The reviews are enticing but I came here with a group of friends and we had to leave. I was told not even the salads can be made safe for people with Celiac. I am ok with salad. I like my friends to enjoy even if I am restricted but I was told Zero food was safe for me. Sad but people should know.

Service can be a little slow at times for food. I’d go later vs earlier - it’s sorta low energy before 11. Reasonable prices though and good drinking food, if you catch my drift. Great around 1am.

Just had the Raven. Arguably the best burger I've ever had. Fries were the skinny fries and done to perfection. Jessica was our server and she was perfect. Checked on us but wasn't swarming. Very friendly. Place was clean and comfy. Next time we're back in Laramie, will definitely be back here. Tip of the cap to the chef. That guy knows how to burger.

We were only in Laramie for a quick trip over the weekend, just a couple of hours, but we decided to stop at the Crowbar & Grill. We definitely didn't regret our decision! My husband and I split the Kingbird burger and an order of pad thai fries. The burger was good, the meat tasted fresh and delicious, but I didn't think there was enough peanut butter or banana to really taste it. The pad thai fries, on the other hand, were so. Freaking. GOOD! The fries were crispy and covered in a spicy sweet chili sauce, with peanuts and lime wedges. I would highly recommend squeezing the lime on top, it adds so much to the flavor of the fries. I would have happily demolished one appetizer order of those fries by myself, and I will say they made the 3 hour drive from Parker worth it! We will definitely be heading back to the Crowbar & Grill for those fires when we're in Laramie again, and I hope that's pretty soon!

Always a problem with something everytime I come here. The credit card machine isn't working, no gifts cards at time time, sorry we're out of that right now, rude people at the entrance, never a manager around either n so forth. Done with this place now. Given too many opportunities. On top of that the food is cold when it "just came out" and is very old tasting. I do not recommend this place at all.

Stopped by while traving back home to Houston. Delicious hamburger cooked just right. Noisy and crowded but that is a sign that people like it, right? I enjoyed being able to watch the cooks hard at work. I ordered a well done burger and they mailed the cook without drying it out. The bun was delicious.

Wanted to like this place, the food looked good, but we left before eating. I understand mistakes happen and orders are delayed...but the way it was handled here was disappointing. We had 13 people between two tables...40 minutes after ordering we were told orders had been confused and they had to rectify those and ours was back of the line (this would have been nice to know earlier as we had cranky children and somewhere to be 90 min after arriving) . The situation would have been easily managed if someone had brought out a plate of fries, explained and apologized for the delay...instead we had to approach the very aloof waitresses several times to find out what was going on. An offer to takeaway the food was given, but it still in involved a further wait, which was an issue.

Great service my burger was truly unusually delicious. Banana peanut butter don't sound like a hamburger topping. I was shockingly surprised at how delicious it was. Our server had suggested that I get a side of chocolate sauce for it. She was right it added the right touch to it. I was surprised when I saw Olympia Beer on the menu and got it as my beverage why because I believe it was cheaper than a soda. $2.00 Took me back to my day's of living in Summit county Colorado. We'll definitely be visiting this restaurant again when we're over in Laramie.

Had an impromptu stop here while checking out Laramie as a possible relocation destination. Awesome place, the pizza was fantastic and everything else looked great too.
