The food was pretty good but the service was deplorable! The place was 2/3 empty at 2PM yet the waitress insisted that we sit next to a young couple with an infant and a small child, claiming that the other tables were "reserved ". Of course the kids screamed. We were there 40 minutes before our burgers arrived, ate as quickly as possible and guess what? The reserved tables were still vacant! So....was the waitress just being snotty or was the seating somehow just for the waitress's convenience?

Great service, wonderful food, very fun atmosphere. We asked the waitstaff to put Sunday night football on, and they had no problem doing it. The food was delicious, and huge servings. The ranch is one of the best I've ever tasted, and I feel like I'm a connoisseur of ranch. I'd definitely recommend if you're ever in Rawlins WY

This place is such a cool little restaurant. First time here today. They are able to accommodate larger tables as well as small. Two 2 top tables outside but when it is hot out the tables are hot to touch. Good food selection from burgers to steak. $5 kids meals. There is a bar with seating. The walls have so much decor on them to look at. Small bathrooms (1 toilet). The service was great, I believe our waitress was Mariah and she was very nice and attentive. Food came out at a good temperature and timely. We enjoyed our lunch and the view. Thank you, keep it up.

Food was excellent and you get allot for your money. Very reasonably priced. Awesome decor in the restaurant. The deer you see on your way in is neat! Their menu is huge, in more ways than one! Bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato waffle fries was yummy! Another person in our party had the beef brisket sandwich, it was really good! Our waitress Taylor was awesome! Very friendly, kept our drinks full and made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend eating at Bucks!

Fries were overcooked and limp. Burger was overcooked, but as much my fault for not specifying as their's for not asking. Booth seat padding was worn out. Burger was good despite being done instead of medium. Place was clean and well lit. Service was excellent when I mentioned the burger was too cooked for my liking.

Very eclectic atmosphere surrounded by beer and soda bottles lining the overhead shelves. Plenty of options on the menu. The burger I had was good and the fries weren't bad either. A bit of a bar atmosphere, but that's probably to be expected from the area.

Buck's is great! Each time I visit my hometown, I love coming here. We used to go to another establishment when i was growing up, but if Buck's had been around, we would have been going there. Food portions are great as well as the price. The dirt road is AMAZING!!! I changed my rating from a 3 to a 5. The way i was treated for my birthday when I came, was like family. It was an incredibly fun atmosphere and Shawn was beyond gracious. I drive 4 hours to get to Rawlins and now every time I come, I come here to eat. Last time I was there, I was there 2x within 24 hours to eat.

Found this place randomly looking for a restaurant on a road trip back from Wyoming. I was very impressed. Their menus are huuuuge. Take up your whole table but have such a great selection of items. Loved the character to this resident. Service was amazing. The staff was extremely attentive. I would go back next time I’m in the area. Great job bucks sports bar!

Beer order conversation: "We'd like a couple beers please" waitress: "what can we get you?" We order from a menu of about 20 beers. Every option we order, "sorry, we're out of that" this was the same conversation at the tables around us. This is after not seeing our waitress for around 12 minutes. It took another 15 to get our beers (ordered a 'new' beer) they were delivered with 10" of foam & dripping so much the waitress put them on the table then shook the beer from her hands. We ordered an appetizer with our meal & got it after our meal was delivered to the table. The shredded cheese on the appetizer wasn't even melted. I'm not sure if everyone on shift tonight is new, or if this is the norm. I feel bad for the residents of Rawlins if this is the norm. We went here because it was suggested by the lobby staff of our hotel. Sadly we were very disappointed. Our butter burgers were very salty, so much so you could only taste salt. We asked for beef on our nachos, & received bbq with a boat load of brown sugar meat. They did discount our appetizer & our waitress was nice. It is nicely decorated & seemed clean.

Came here to grab some dinner after watching the high school soccer games. They had several tables open, but were extremely slow in getting them cleared off, saying it would be a 30 minute wait for just me eating by myself. The waiting area was packed and everyone was becoming irritated by the service. Another couple and myself ended up changing s to "to-go" orders and were able to order our food right away. We both received our food, paid, and left before anyone else even got seated (about 30 minutes). The food was good, though wouldn't be worth the wait. Not sure if I would return.

The food was very good but the service left a lot to be desires of. Our waitress was more intersected in playing with her friends at the table behind us and flirting with the men a few tables down. We needed the check split due to work and she ran the entire check through on one card though we told her we couldn't do that as it was a company card. We had to get Her attention again (which was hard because she was playing with the other tables) and tell her this had to be reversed. We then got to wait even longer for a manger to fix the problem. In the end it was fixed and we were able to leave. Will I be back? Not sure if the food was that good but the service was that bad.

Beer is cheaper than most restaurants. Great food. Great staff. The owner is in the restaurant serving guests most of the day and takes a very active role. The staff is friendly and takes great care of the guests. Very lengthy menu with lots of choices and options. Peanuts served at the bar. The entire establishment is always clean even during busy times of day. I have never had less than a wonderful experience here.

Was a fun, sports bar kind of place. Children to seniors. Wait staff was fabulous, pleasant and efficient.They had several items on the menu that I can't get in many other places such as Fried pickle spears. The two complaints that I had were that the cheeseburger I had was overcooked to the point of death and everything was over-salted thank God I tasted it before I put more salt on. I don't know if it appeals to taste buds of the locals since I have not been in this community before. For my taste this would be a fabulous restaurant if they would just cure it those couple of things

So my review: Been here 5 times. Something is always wrong. Steaks over cooked. Burgers dry. I received half a baked potato this time instead of a full one. My Mac n cheeses was ice cold. I understand it’s a small town. But if this is the best restaurant in town. They need the best cook. And I’ve had better burgers at the Days inn. I mean it’s always packed. If this was a big city restaurant and people had more options. They would lose so much business.

Bucks is an all around definition of a sporty restaurant. Upon walking in the doors I was taken on a trip down memory lane with the memorabilia and photos on the wall. The food at bucks is out right superb. Filling portions of your favorite American meals with what I would like to call Bucks twist and creativity garnished to make you feel like you are down home. I will say that here you are treated like family with personable service and a feeling that leaves you warm and cozy on the inside. I strongly encourage you to stop by and grab a bite. Change your view on culinary in Wyoming.

First time here and wouldn't excatly recommend. Place decor was sporty and nice atmosphere. Took 20 minutes or so for some to seat us. Place was mostly empty had a few people in. Staff was nice attitude. Did not apologize for the wait like most places. I ordered the 12oz sirloin and asked it to be medium rare. It came out very dried and past well done. It was not appetizing. Could not eat it. As for the house salad it was first time eating mostly shredded lettuce with very few pieces of egg and tomato. The sweet potato fries were fried hard or had been cooked and left out most the day. Instead of sending the steak back the waitress barely came around so by the time she did I was already full from gaggin down the rest. Only given 2 stars due to nice decor. Was deffinately not impressed. Would not go back again. I was in town hoping to have a nice meal and ratings and reviews were good but advice do not always go by the ratings.

So I ordered some food to go and it's pretty disappointing. The patty melt was ok but the burger 71 was served on stale bread and as you can see from the pic they didn't really make the meat into real patties. Staff was friendly and the food was made fast. I won't stop again if I ever pass through town again.

Yeah, it's kinda of a 3.5 star place. Beer, good selection and cold. Really nice and comfy inside, great place for Monday night football. Food was below average. It's not that the fries and chips for the spinach dip were greasy, they weren't cooked in hot enough grease. Spinach dip was watery and under seasoned, needs a new recipe. Service was great.

Yep. This place is worth the recommendation. Rawlins doesn't have much, but they do have good local people and this place is full of them. The menu is straight out of Wyoming-favorite Humphrey's/Sanfords. Lots of comfort food, amazing burgers, very good fries, lots of spicy options, fries are really good. Beer selection is amazing for a small town. Service is quick and friendly. I couldn't find anything to complain about.

Was here on 4/8/18. Server was crazy and looked and acted like she'd been smoking crack all day, and she was fairly rude. One of the people in our party wanted his cheese curds to come out with the rest of the food and she said, "Umm, no. You will get them before!" Cheese curds were served with old spaghetti sauce that tasted like it was out of a tin can and had passed it's expiration date. Burger had an odd texture and flavor, like it was packed with soy filler and then cooked to death. Salad is just a handful of wilted shredded iceberg lettuce on a pizza plate. Fries were cold and stale. "Toast" was so soggy you probably could've rung a quart of water out of it. I would give this place negative stars if I could! Save yourself the disappointing gut bomb, and go to Anong's, which is some of the best Thai food I've ever had and has exceptional customer service.

Went there on a Saturday evening with hungry kids after a long drive from central Idaho. We were told that they were short staffed that evening and that it would be a 20-25 minute wait, which I was reluctant to do but figured we were here, let’s just wait. An hour later we got seated. When the drinks came, my wife wasn’t brought a water which took 20 minutes to resolve. We ordered and the salads came out which were fresh and tasted great but I like my dressing on the side and had ordered it that way but mine had way more dressing that I would have put on it. The meals came about 20 minutes after our salads were gone and my 5 year-old daughters meal wasn’t there and we were told it would be put in a minute. Ten minutes later it arrives. In the meantime, my son had chicken wings and fries which were great and wife had sirloin with blue cheese and a baked potato that she said were great. My 12 oz ribeye ordered medium rare was medium well and looked more like 8 oz and appeared to have been cut by a child. There was about 4 oz of fat that was 1 1/2” thick and 4 oz of meat that was about 1/4” thick at best. For what it is worth, it still tasted ok but anywhere else and it would have gone back, I was really hungry, too. Finally, when daughters chicken nuggets arrive they are so hot that she got burned and cried. All this time they had a wait staff of two while the manager is seen just standing around doing next to nothing and the hostess is busy talking with a friend of hers in the booth right behind ours whereas both of them could have been helping out with the wait staff. My baked potato would have been great but I had asked for extra butter just before she went to get my daughters food. She brings daughters food and said she forgot the butter and would be right back. Instead, she goes to four other tables to take care of them and checks on us 15 minutes later. I ask for my butter and get no apology ( during this wait, the manager walked by three times without asking us or anybody else if she could get them anything and also took time to schmooze with the hostess and her friend. By the time I got my butter, the potato was almost cold and I was over it. Might have been a better experience with a full staff but the manager sure didn’t help anything at all, maybe she’s above doing actual work. Either way, I won’t be visiting them ever again. The food was reasonably priced, though, for a place in the middle of nowhere.

Had lunch about 11:30, got seated quickly. The menus was half the size of the table, the waitress gave us time to make a selection which we did. I had the bacon cheesebuger and my wife got the mushroom swiss buger. Both were good size and were good. The bar was in a separate part but still visable. The combination of old license plates, beer bottles and classic advertising was well done.

Stopped into Buck’s recently while on my way through Wyoming.. the service was top notch! Shaun offered me a to-go soda which has never happened to me before when leaving a restaurant! Sweet potato fries are a must. They have some adventurous burger options too, although I went with a pretty basic patty melt it was still killer. Looks like a good place to get a drink- had a decent selection of taps and they guy looked like he could make a cocktail. Also they have the real, unshelled peanuts. Honestly worth stopping by just for the decor. Glad I listened to my friends recommendation!
