It was wonderful. Super nice staff and even though it was busy, quick service. Definitely one of my favorites. They have a very nice inside and outside setting topped off with a volleyball court and and outdoor bar. I am very impressed

Loved the setting and venue. Watched a group of folks play sand volleyball, outside. Pretty cool! I ordered the BONELESS CHICKEN WINGS (a Thursday night special). They were out of mild hot sauce so I chose the teriyaki sauce. I normally eat traditional wings (with bones). I did not enjoy the boneless wings. Too much breading, for me. Kids would probably like these. Service was very good.

The BEST artichoke dip I've ever had. Mostly order takeout from here... ready in 20 minutes... not so much. Got there 20 minutes after I phoned in the order then waited another 25 once I got there (only ordered the combo appetizer).

This is the second time I've visited The Rock. I will not be coming again. I'm going to preface my review by saying that the service and the facility have always met or exceeded expectations. It's the food that's the problem. On my first visit I ordered a pulled pork sandwich that was sub par to what I could have purchased in the frozen foods section at the supermarket. But maybe it was too obscure of a menu item. So I came back again. The second visit, however, was even more disappointing. I ordered the fish fry, pictured below. The ”fillets" were barely larger than the plastic cup my coleslaw came in. It was insulting. On top of the ridiculous portion size, the fish tasted horrendous. I've eaten fish nearly every Friday for years, and this is near the top of the list for the most unappetizing. Flavorless breading (which admittedly looks deceivingly good) coats a mushy, fishy-tasting nugget. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I won't be returning to figure it out.

We went here for the Fish fry and I wasn’t disappointed. The food was delicious. The ambiance was pretty good as well. Scenic surroundings at this establishment right off Rock river. Would definitely go back here for a drink and some food when I’m in the area.

First time there. Great service. However, we were not pleased with the chicken dinner. We didn't see any steak dinners on the menu. My husband did have the burger and fries and said it was good. Not sure we will visit again.

I really enjoy going to the Rock. Every meal and drink I've had there has been delicious. When it's nice enough to sit outside the view is great and the accommodations are comfortable. The service is also very pleasant. I often recommend this as a meeting place.

A Beloit staple . When you're out boating on the Rock River or cycling along the trails, it's a good place to stop off and have a beer and a burger, sit by the river, play a little cornhole, enjoy the mud volleyball, or just have a pleasant conversation with friends.

This place just served my son a wrap with a band aid in it. This is unacceptable from any point of view. We will never forget it or return. The manager only had an apology and only credited the wrap. This is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my 50 years eating out.

Had the all-you-can-eat fish fry on a Friday night. My wife had the Blue Bayou blue cheese burger. Her burger was very good, my fish was good but could have had more seasoning in the batter, it was quite bland, hence 3 stars instead of 4. Service sitting at at the bar was very good agent the food came out of the kitchen hot. Since up the fish and I'll be back!

I love The Rock for the food and the great beer. I just wish The Rock would promote their beer events better. Most of the time you have no idea there is anything going on. Our waitress told us tonight that they don't get much information about beer events. Why? We have never been informed on arrival of a beer event going on or of any specials involved with an event. Shouldn't the event be one of the first things mentioned before seating your guests? Tonight was an Epic brewing event. No mention of this event was made by our host or the waitress and we never spoke to the representative from Epic. There was a drawing while we were there made by, who we found out was the rep and we weren't informed of that either. We loved the tasting and the dessert, but it was an EPIC fail on promotion and participation of the rep.

It was trivia night at the Rock when we dined. It was really engaging. I love the concept and had really had a great dining experience here! The chicken was tender enough and flavorful. I love the cheese puff (I am not sure if this is the correct name). Great selection also of beers and draft beers. I had stella artois! Staffs are very friendly and cool! Parking area is of no problem here.
