Classic American food in a unique restaurant - bar on one side, supper club on the other side. Their food is good, but I've never had anything there that blew me away. Staff are friendly, drinks are strong and delicious, and the prices are good, so give it a try!

Always come here when in town for Friday night fish fry. Absolutely love the perch plates and their jumbo butter burger and the size of the plate. You definitely won't leave here hungry. The service is excellent.

Always consistently good food. If you're looking for a "WOW" meal, this isn't quite the place, but it's one of our go to spots when we just want to get something quick to eat. The waitstaff is very friendly and you can't beat the fish fry and bountiful salad bar on a Friday night.

Very good food choices and deals. Monday they have $2.50 cheese burgers (definitely better than McDonald's) which are very good and cooked completely. Appetizers were also very good from the seasoned and regular fries, to the mozzarella sticks. Fast and friendly service with short wait times.

I go here specifically for the large selection of draft beers and burgers(mushroom and Swiss with fried onions is my favorite). The menu offers a large selection of sandwiches and dinner plates. They offer a daily special and plethora of homemade soups to choose from. Service is fast and friendly for lunch. Dinner can be too busy at times and you may have to wait for a table.

Nice cozy place. Food looks and is delicious.Very busy at lunch time so get there early especially on fridays. They do have a kid friendly menu so bring the kiddies along. Prices are fairly reasonable.

This is our go to place if we need something to eat and dont want to cook or have time to. The booyah is the best in town and everything else is really good to. I would have given 5 stars but we had the shrimp plate and you get plenty of shrimp but they were mostly breading and not that good. We will still keep coming back as the food and service has been great.

It's a ways out from anywhere else. Very dated decor. Surprisingly good salad. It seems to be designed as a meeting place for old white men, like boosters and rotarians. For God's sake, don't take a date to this place.

Excellent broasted chicken. We drove from Birchwood WI after a 19 day fishing vacation. They didn't have any broasted chicken in the area that we were in and our 1st stop was for gas at Costco and the next stop was the Rite Place. Awesome decision and very delicious chicken!

Definitely not worth going!!! Long wait on a Friday night because they only take reservations for large groups, my husband’s tenderloin was like chewing on a piece of leather, I ordered the cod but got the haddock instead and it definitely looked like and tasted like it had come from a box. We were seated right next to the door of the dining room so there was lots of traffic and disruptions, and our waitress seemed to be pulled in many directions. The salad bar was the only good thing. Very $$$ and not worth the wait, quality of food or service.

Came for a Friday fish fry meal. The perch was great, the cod was terrible, and the Wisconsin style old fashioned's were as authentic as they come. Highly recommended for fish as long as you stay away from the cod.

We always get the Friday fish here. It's better if you get there earlier to sit in the dining room rather than the bar. Then you'll also have the option of getting the salad bar.

Prefer buffet on busy nites for all but main entre...gives kitchen & staff time to turn tables better & allow guests to dine with more liking to their company & beverage service! Food wasters should be charged a fee to better manage food cost! Wait staff need bussers to turn tables & provide superior sanitation & general water/coffee refills...gives servers more time to interact with their tables and, shoe their personality with a smile!

I've visited the Rite Place many times over the years... wedding receptions, funeral dinners, special occasions or just a pop otherwise. Banquet, buffet pr individual table...the food was good & the people were friendly. Whatever the day, the feeling was always pleasant & homey for me. Even if I was only there for water...THANK YOU to those who serve us in any capacity at the Rite Place!

I had the 12oz cheeseburger and it was delicious. I ordered a Skyy vodka, Dr. Vanillacudy and cranberry and it was very weak... There was a man named Mark walking around who is apparently Julie the owners son and he kept giving me and my family dirty looks. Our waitress didn't come back to check on us until after most of our party was done eating. Overall a pretty good experience, Julie and Mark need to stay away from the customers as they are not good for the business. There were also way too many hiring posters around the restaurant which tells me that they probably have a high turnover of employees, literally every door and wall had a hiring sign on it and so did the sign outside!

Stopped in from on the road. Smelt good but the customer service was not there. Very rude older lady working the register/desk area. Had to ask if we seat ourselves or wait to be seated from standing there for a while. Then we sat ourselves to wait another 10 minutes for menus. Ended up walking out after waiting for menus with her lovely rude comment under her breathe.

Celebrated my birthday at the Rite Place for supper on January 6th. Usually, restaurants are fairly empty after the holidays. Not the case this time. The sports bar area was packed to the hilt. They directed us to the dining room. Our party of 7 was seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. Our drinks were taken right away. My party ordered mostly sandwiches which were prepared well and were delicious. I had the broasted chicken which came with the salad bar. The chicken and baked potato were excellent. The real star of the meal for me was the salad bar. All items were cold and fresh. The selection of vegetables was complete. I cannot think of anything left out. My favorite is pickled herring and it was there! We had a great time in a nice atmosphere. (salad bar is only available in the dining room)

AWFUL. Only reason even giving it a one star is because the bartender/server was nice and professional. The french fries were under-cooked, the old-fashioned was flat, the deep fried haddock was disgusting, all breading and somewhat gray. The perch was just ok, a little fishy at first and the breading a bit soggy. We had a $45 tab, 30 on food 15 on drinks. Left feeling disgusted and hungry. The really amazing thing was the place was packed, I just don't understand that at all. Won't be going back, waste of money. Should have asked for management while I was there but it was busy and in the end wouldn't have changed anything, still won't go back.

I had the perch, my wife had a burger and my 9 year old had popcorn chicken. All were excellent! Fast, courteous, friendly service! This was our first time eating here, will definitely come again!! Only complaint.... Paying your bill at the checkout was a bit annoying. Three people taking money and credit cards, answering two phones, taking orders over the phone, getting to go orders all trying to use one cash register. It took nearly 10 minutes to pay my bill and there were only two parties ahead of me! I realize it was busy and a Friday, but I think some organization is in order here. Just my 2 cents! This won't stop me and family from coming back to dine again. Food was great!
