Waitress was awesome! Thank you Alex! We sat down and a child was being a child screaming at the top of its lungs. We asked to be moved and Alex moved us right away. Ordered the the fillet and was disappointed. I was expecting something not chewy. Alex discounted it and also asked if I Wanted something else. Alex was awesome! Food not so much.

Parking can be hard to find. Service is good and food comes out fast. Friendly pricing. Food is pretty good. Game room is big and can get very busy. Been here a few times.

Got seated and it wasn't busy. Didn't get waited on for 15 minutes. When our food was served they started asking if they could box it up so we can go. Used excuses for why we weren't served right away. People seated after us got served and left be we got our food. Food quality was good but service and management leave something to be desired. Upstairs in the arcade you can order a pizza and tokens special. Then you take receipt downstairs to sit and order pizza w/toppings, any other menu items and drinks. We went upstairs to arcade to play while waiting for pizza. We had a little B'day party at our table and then back upstairs for more fun. Kids of all ages will have a blast. Our group consisted of ages 1 (walking), 3, 6, 8, 15, 38 to 72. Adults said they enjoyed it also.

Very nice breakfast selection. We went on a Saturday, but I believe they have a buffet on Sunday mornings. I had an omelet, and some red skin seasoned potatoes that were really good. Coffee and ice water, nothing fancy. Our servers were great throughout. Such a fun place to eat, breakfast lunch or dinner. And each breakfast selection was $6.99! Couldn't beat it. I finally made it up to the game room. That's amazing

The Mineshaft is a legendary bar in Hartford, WI, roughly between Dodge and Washington Counties. However it is much more than a bar, taking up the better part of a block on Main Street in downtown Hartford. It features live music, excellent food and outstanding fish fries, and an arcade with millions of dollars worth of games for you or your children's enjoyment! If you are in the area I strongly recommend this place for food, or if you are in the mood for a few drinks and a night on the town!

Very busy on Saturday, the kids liked it. Parking is a challenge, I ended up down the street in front of the police station, other family members parked in the library parking lot. We had the middle size burger (comes with fries) and the chilly with a side of onion rings. Everything was quite good but took a while to get our food. The game room is huge with a really good selection of games. Everything seems new and well kept. I would recommend it.

Mineshaft is one of the best restaurants and arcade I have been to since I have been alive. The deals are amazing, same as the food. Great time for the kids in the upstairs arcade. Lots of fun for the whole family.

We usally really like this place for food but our last expierence wasn't as great. We got steak. Our French onion soup was so cold that the cheese wasn't melted and still in shredded form. Steak was ok. My husband likes his rare but it was too rare and needed to be put back on. I get their not a steak place so I give it a pass. Our daughters chicken tenders and fries were really good! They have an amazing Sunday Brunch though! Game room was fun and full of updated games! They are a little pricey though.

Had the Barrel filet with baked potato and salad. Awesome! Steak was so tender and juicy. Drinks were a little strong but the bartenders were great and friendly.

I despise this place. The food is bland at best, for what you pay, and the atmosphere does nothing to justify this. The staff seem to always hate being there, which hurts the overall experience. Don't even get me started on the arcade upstairs! It's so out of place and halfassd, it feels like a granddad bribing his grandchildren with candy. It doesn't have that classic arcade feel, which I feel would improve the restaurant as a whole, but attempts to be modern clash with whatever the rest of the place is trying to do.

The games were fun and not terribly expensive, as well as fun for our little kiddo. We had the Sunday brunch buffet that did have many options but everything was bland. Very friendly service staff.

I have been here many times and had great service but today out waitress was very unpleasant and wouldn't bring ice water to our table after being asked several times. One member of our party went to the bar to get it and the bartender wasn't very nice as well. I will think twice about going again.

Drove about half an hour because we thought it would be worth it, it was not. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, after sitting for an hour we went and asked if there was a problem. Turns out every person's name around ours on the list was crossed out and they missed us. When we finally got to our table, we ordered right away only to see several tables sit down after us and get their food before us. When ours came out the fish was cold and hard. The game room was still enjoyable and I'm hoping this was a one-time thing, but no one really apologized or offered to do anything and that was a little disappointing. Just expected better out of a neat place. I've had better experiences here other times.

Went there on a Saturday night. There were a ton of people there but we were able to be seated right away. We also had a disabled person with us and used the elevator (thankful). Had pizza and pitcher of beer. Good pizza & great special. Service was with a smile and her timing was excellent! Good time had by all.

Dont expect a short wait. We arrived at 5:20 and were told us an half hour wait. We checked back 40 minutes later and were told 15 more minutes more. So at 6:45 we still did not have a table and decided to leave. The hostess showed no concern that after an hour longer than we we told that we decided it wasn't worth waiting any longer. We saw several larger parties arrive after us that were being seated before us. Each time we went to check on the status if our table for three, we saw several open tables of four, and yet we were told there was still a wait. So we googled where to eat near us and Puebla's right around the corner. We were greeted before we even got in the door and got a table right away, took our drink order and brought us chips and salsa. The food was great and really friendly. We laughed when we searched nearby restaurants and saw that the mineshaft had the lowest rating out of all of them.

This is an amazingly large and popular casual restaurant with a small parking lot in back. There are different specials for each day. We didn't take advantage of those this time. We had a medium deluxe pizza (hot and delicious) which was still more than the two of us could eat there. One of our friends had a huge club sandwich, so big he had to take half home. His wife had wings with what the Mineshaft called "honey mustard sauce," but seemed to have BBQ sauce mixed in. She did not care for it at all. Hers was the only meal that any of us have had in all our visits that wasn't up to par. Our server was extremely attentive, even willing to hang on to our leftovers (which would have spoiled in the extreme heat of the day) while we toured the nearby auto museum.

Even though it was very busy, we were able to get a table due to a reservation. The menu was very large, and in past experiences if you offer a lot of choices you most likely don't do all of them well. Two of us had the Friday special (fish, shrimp) and two had sandwiches. Everything is deep fried, the shrimp I had was overdone, but the Cod was good. In the future we will most likely look for something else with a smaller menu and look for quality not quantity.

My husband and I went there for a lunch/dinner after going to the auto museum. We sat at the bar but wanted to switch to a table once we ordered because we thought we would be more comfortable. A small dark haired waitress who took our order said "no" we laughed thinking she was kidding but she said it again "no you can't sit at a table once you ordered at the bar!" I said are you kidding we are leaving then paid 9.99 for drinks we didn't drink and left so angry. Will never go there again and will tell all my Harley friends not stop at this establishment.

Recipes and menu has changed....many favorites eliminated from the menu. Stuffed burrito was fair, Pico flavorless. Mostly crushed tomatoes. Chicken parmesan sandwich was dry and marinara was also flavorless. Wraps and burgers are still good, but prices substantially higher. Always frequented this place, but now will explore other establishments for a change. Unfortunately disappointing.

Our 10 & 12yo son's won 1k tickets on a game on their 2nd try, which had them running to trade them in for treats and trinkets. This place will see much more of us. Usually this is a great place. But we have been there twice in last 3 weeks for Friday fish. Lunch was ok. First round of fish was cool. 2nd round hot. Waitress was slow and did not pay attention to table of 4. Tonight took 25 minutes for our meal. Waiter even went to ask why so long but we never heard why. Finally got meal10 mins later. Which was luke warm on arrival. Waiter disappeared waited awhile for refill, which was hot. I think it boils down to inexperienced staff and not having enough people working. But good value for your buck. It always seems that the initial serving of fish is always luke warm to cold. But if you reorder the second round is piping hot figure that one out. We were there at 5ish....was not that busy yet. Seated within 5 min

My only complaint is the quality of the prime rib. I would hesitate to try it again after my last two experiences.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and I have to give it five stars simply for the excitement I used to feel and the good times I had. The games now are slightly different than what they used to be, being even more oriented towards getting tickets, but that's probably a change they had to make, considering how easy it is nowadays to play classic arcade games at home. The food also is, and always has been, better than you would ever expect from an arcade restaurant. I especially recommend going during their fish fry specials, if you like fish. It's probably the best I've ever had, but I might be biased. With the changing of the times this place is probably less exciting to kids today than it was to me, but it'll still be fun, and the food's still good.

Dinner was good, had the Friday night special, the fish fry. The service was quick and friendly. I was seated and eating in less than 15 minutes. The fish was a little greasy as were the shrimp, but hot and tasty and you got a good plate full. I'll be back again.

We've been here many times, and love the pizza, the buffet, the burgers and their good quality drinks and bar service. Great atmosphere and great value for your money. I'd have to recommend AGAINST the shrimp tacos though. My seafood-friendly vegetarian wife tried them tonight, and the shrimp were not very fresh. They were quickly taken off our bill with an apology. 9 out of 10 still gets rounded up to 5 stars.

When you factor in the game room, the bar and the large menu selection, this place is pretty good. The minus 1 star is because the food is just not what I would consider 5 stars quality. I have visited over 10 times, trying something different each time, but it is repeatedly not 5 star. Steak was good, Pizza was great, but that was the best of it. Overall, happy customer. The staffs are friendly and the atmosphere is unique. 4/5 Stars.

Good place for families, including younger kids. The menu has a large variety and daily specials. The prices are comparable to most family dining restaurant l; $10.00 - $13.00 on average excluding your normal higher priced entrees, the average price of the kids menu is $5.99. The game room and dining area with a full bar are on separate floors. There is an easy acess elevator with a separate entrance next to the main entrance. They take reservations and normally have a short wait time during peak hours.

Great place to spend some time with kids in tow. They have a game room upstairs that the kids love. We all had different types of pizza thin crust with 3 toppings and either a pitcher of soda , domestic beer, or milk for 19.99. pizza was great and our waitress was also. Check in on us and was professional and friendly. Bathroom was clean. Was a busy resturaunt so reservation suggested.

At least 4. They have a great (very good?) fish fry, which is pretty much all I had sampled on a. few visits. Last night I had their Sat Nite Prime. Rib special (2# 2500). I was. Very impressed. The. Mea was. Tasty. And tender. A fine meal. Excuse the. ExTra periods/sentences I will try to stoorssahes. From doing this.

This place is always busy. We've been here several times. The food is good for being as big as it is. I recommend the pizza and pitcher deal. They have a game room for kids, but a lot of times it's too crowded. Kids still love it though.

Game room is fantastic! Kids loved it. Mozz sticks were good. Had chips and salsa (while we waited over an hour for a table) and the chips were stale. Ordered pizza as suggested and it's better than Chuck E Cheese but not by much. Was not impressed. Digiornos rocks it over theirs and is 1/3 the price. Asked for garlic on the pizza (they have Italian items on menu) and was told garlic only comes on the side. Really? Who wants that? Daughter ordered kids spaghetti which was mostly noodles and not much sauce. Definitely disappointed after hearing about this on the radio and driving 1-1/2 hours to get there not to mention the $95 spent for dinner and games, at least the kids had fun.
